Chapter 6 - Itachi

Sasuke's pov
Naruto? Jump out the window? But he was on the second floor. I saw Itachi-nii exit through the window of our house a few times but naruto was on the second floor.

"Oh ok thanks minata, I'll just talk to him tomorrow at school,"

Sasuke's pov

The 1st year exams where coming up, most of it was written so I didn't really bother doing any special physical training.

One thing that was bothering me was naruto. I've been trying to ask him about, everything. The way he has been acting and the fact that he looks like he's hiding something does not sit well with me.

Every time I approach the blond with questions I just somehow get pushed away every time. Sure naruto is still smiling all the time but when he's around me it's. Different.

The same problem is with Itachi-nii as well. I just can't put my finger on it. Nii-san doesn't hang out with me as much recently and he doesn't train me no matter how much I pout.

Naruto, aniki, what are you hiding?
(Aniki = elder brother)

The exams where today but that was the least of my concerns. I've seen naruto train a few more times as the few times Itachi trains me naruto is also there.

I wonder how naruto will do on the first year tests?

As I was strolling down the streets of Konoha on my way to the academy, a familiar yellow blur caught my attention.

"Oi dobe where are you going, the academy is this way," I shouted.

"Teme" Naruto growled before taking off again.

I swiftly ran after him, naruto was surprisingly fast so I just shouted at him.

"Dobe why are you going that way, the academy's this way, your going to be late if you keep running the other direction."

"Shut up I'm going to the hokage's office" Naruto blurted out before disappearing into the distance.

I found this a perfect opportunity to find out what's going on about the blond dobe so I followed him from a distance.

Before going into the hokage's office to speak to naruto I heard the conversation.

"Naruto don't you dare fail this exam" sandaime shouted at naruto.

Wow didn't know hokage-sama would care so much about the academy's dead last student being dead last.

"But jiji" whined naruto.

Jiji? What the hell does naruto think he's doing calling hokage-sama jiji?

"Come on naruto it shouldn't be that hard to tone it down without toning it down completely, its not like there's a kenjutsu test or anything" sandaime replied.

Kenjutsu? As in swords? What's naruto got to do with that? And what did hokage-sama mean by tone it down?

I could hear naruto stomping towards the door so I stood in front of it ready to confront him. But before I could speak the door slammed open and naruto dragged me outside. I let myself be dragged until we stopped outside the building.
