Recap
3rd person pov

"Don't know pain. Huh? Happy life? I wonder the definition of that. You, inari, would describe my life as happy? Well you better think again." Naruto said steadily, his voice rid of emotions.

...

The whole room was dead silent. Cold, unbearable silence.

"Naruto calm down" sasuke pleaded.

"What do you mean he's completely calm" Sakura whispered to the raven next to her.

"No he's not, look at his eyes" sasuke whispered back, "there cold, lifeless even, the last time he was like this was-"

"But this time, it's filled with anger too," sasuke worryingly said.

Sakura was utterly confused, she didn't know what was weirder: naruto emotionless or sasuke talking to her a lot.

"Hero's don't exist, just go back to where you came from," inari shouted.

Naruto noticed inari's tone, his voice, it was so broken. Naruto noticed it. It was almost like. Himself.

"Just because your hero is dead, doesn't mean he's not a hero. The fact that they sacrificed them self, makes them an even better hero," Naruto stated.
'Tou-san...'  the orphan boy thought.

"Huh... how did you know," inari sobbed.

"Your like me inari..." Naruto vaguely said.

"Your an eyesore to look at, you don't understand at all," inari screamed through tears.

"I'm an eyesore, huh? It's okay inari-chan, everyone calls me that. Demon, monster, I've heard it all,"

Naruto had red, baleful eyes. His head angled down, trying to hid his hurtful expression. His fists trembling at the sides of his body. His vivid yellow hair cast a shadow over his crimson eyes, fox eyes.

'Kyuubi...' kakashi thought... 'no way'

Naruto wasn't like inari. His harsh reaction to a few words wasn't because he's week. It was kurama. The massive, evil chakra would rile up at the slight emotional spike. He tried so hard to hide his broken painful side of himself, but...

"I need some air," Naruto uttered.

"I'm going to my room," inari uttered.

Sasuke immediately stood up to go checkup on naruto, to be held back by a certain pink haired teammate.

"Let me go," Sakura insisted, "if what he said is true, I owe him an apology."

Sasuke hearing this backed down and let Sakura go after naruto. This left the room in silence once again.

"Tazuna, you mind if I go check on inari?" Sasuke asked. The usually unsocial raven didn't mind silence, but silence with other people was more uncomfortable than expected.

With naruto

A blond boy, hair swaying with the shore side wind, feet dangling aimlessly off the wooden deck. His face had a feigned smile, one that looked up at the world.
