Minata's pov

"We saw him looking at you so don't you dare steal OUR sasuke-kun" complained Sakura.

Geeze my ridiculously red hair just draws attention okay?

Sasuke's pov

Did I, an uchiha, just stare at someone without knowing?

I swear I was staring somewhere off in the two uzumakis direction. I would like to think it was minata because she's a girl who has commons sense to not fangirl but something seems off. I mean I don't feel anything towards her but...

Gosh sometimes I wish uchiha's could be a little better at 'feelings'

I was the first one back into class so I just sat in my usual spot and stared out the window. I didn't even notice everyone coming into the class until Iruka spoke up.

"Class I have marked your quizzes and the top scorer is... Minata! Congratulations, you must have done your research before you came here" announced Iruka.

I could tell I started brooding again when naruto started chuckling at me.

"Naruto I wouldn't laugh if I were you. You placed last, I mean your spelling of the yondaime hokage is just disrespectful" Iruka shouted scolding naruto for the hundredth time.

Naruto just sheepishly smiled at the entire class before deciding to find a comfortable position to sleep in.

But that smile though. I don't know why but I looked in his eyes when he smiled and something was off. It almost looked like it was forced...

The rest of the day went on and I kept thinking about the two uzumakis conveniently sitting right next to me.

When class ended, I paced out to the yard with my eyes scanning he area for my nii-san. He said he would pick me up today.

Then I spotted him. I beamed before launching myself at him.

"Nii-san, can you help me with this new jutsu?" I beamed holding up a small scroll Iruka sensei gave us.

"Sure sasuke, I'll try and make time," Itachi replied smiling at me.

Wait hold on. I look into his dark orbs as he smiles. They look exactly like naruto's eyes when he smiled. What is going on? They both have this, forced feeling on them.

"Sasuke? You okay?" Itachi asked worriedly.

"I'm fine" I mumbled.

Naruto's pov

Damn it, this stupid mask I have to 'wear' is so annoying. How far Iruka sensei day I disrespect my father. I-

"Geeze calm down"

"I'm perfectly fi-"

I heard a loud boom, an enemy? No. Just me accidentally crushing the floor of a training ground I stumbled into.

"Well that doesn't help your argument does it?" teased kurama.

I just huffed and sat down beside the hole I made slowly fixing it with doton.
