3rd pov

*knock knock*

"Naruto? You here?" A lively voiced asked through the door.

"Coming," the blond shouted. "Oh hey minata and... uh who are you?"

"Names Menma,"
"And I'm Karin"

"I was just going to check up on you but you but sasuke said you already left so I figured you'd be at home," minata explained.

"Oh I'm totally fine now," Naruto lied through his teeth. The boy had pushed everything into the past as always.

"Are you sure I-"

"Then can we come in we want to talk about clan stuff!" Karin eagerly shouted interrupting minata and barging past Naruto.

The four sat down around the small coffee table.

"So this is actually very important," minata said breaking the silence.

Naruto only nodded.

"We suspect that a group is going after uzushiogakure and that's not there only plan," Karin explained seriously.

"Wait what? What do you mean?" Naruto asked confused as the village was supposedly wiped out.

"What were saying is that there's a group of people specifically targeting uzumakis, the ones that are alive," minata followed on.

A dark, cave like room with a single candle illuminating the pitch black space. A throne like chair sat a man with long hair facing a masked man who's hands were trembling by his side.

"On-ji is dead, and it's your fault," A voice said through the mask.

"Now now, kuzon-" a slithery voice started just to be interrupted.

"You should have never sent us to the leaf, why did you even ask us to attack that blond brat, on-ji is dead now and I'll never forgive you," the masked voice shouted.

"You agreed to that mission yourself," the four eyes said smugly.

"Kabuto, Kuzon calm down," a voice hissed.

"I'm going back to shinobu" Kuzon stated whipping his head around and heading for the exit.

"Orochimaru-sama"

Clang

Two swords clashed.

Kuzon stared into the eyes of his attacker.
"You won't stop me, my will is that of the true stone tab-"

Kuzon was cut off to a sword piercing through his heart. Blood dripped down from the kusanagi.

"You- you'll p- pay for thi-this"

"And how do you know this?" Naruto asked.

"Spy system by the the villages sannin," menma replied in a matter of fact tone.
