Naruto's pov

My hands dropped to the two scrolls fastened around my belt. Why after our first mission outside the village?

That's when I heard rustling, footsteps and droplets of water?

3rd person pov

To naruto's surprise, a mop of red hair came out walking through the forest.

"Minata? What are you doing here this late?" Naruto questioned. Kurama was relieved now that naruto could take his mind of what happened just for a second.

"Did you feel that?" Minata asked as if she just saw a ghost.

"Huh wha-what do you mean?"

"I better explain," Minata sighed, gaining naruto's curiosity. "I have a faint ability to sense negative emotions. Not as much as a uzumaki-kyuubi jinchuriki but I've never trained it yet but today, today-"

"Ahh let me guess you sensed ridiculously amounts of fear." Naruto said almost too calmly.

"Uh-h yes how'd you know?" Minata stammered.

Naruto pointed at the direction of the uchiha compound. "That's where it came from correct?"

"Is that anywhere special?" Minata asked, unlike naruto she hadn't learned the leaf village layout like the back of her hand.

"That's the uchiha compound, I figured you would find out sooner or later so there's no point in hiding it." Naruto explained.

"Finding out? What happened?"

"I'll tell you on the way, we have to go visit sasuke, he's in the hospital." Naruto proceeded to sprint out the forest with minata in his tail.

Kurama was happy minata showed up. Naruto finally got over the shock but now the fox was worried about the other uzumaki.

"You think it's a good idea telling her?" Kurama asked naruto.

"If her sensing abilities are anywhere near mito uzumaki's then she would be able to find out sooner or later and like you said, it's easier when you have someone to get over things like this."

"Okay then, also you could also unlock this ability, the negative emotion sensing."

"I'll get to it sometime, I've already got good sensing skills from moukton, I'll be fine." Naruto beamed, he always loved anything to do with training his skills.

While still in the forest, naruto took the time to explain what happened at the uchiha compound, but leaving out his theory on Itachi.

Minata shed a few tears for the fallen clam and was glad sasuke was okay. Surprisingly she took the news pretty well.

It was around 4am at this moment, and the hospitals were pretty empty due to the many corpses in need of burial in the uchiha compound which many nurses came to help out with.

When naruto and minata got there, naruto put on a henge (transformation) before walking up to the nurse currently at the counter.

The reason why is because the nurses at the hospital were never kind to naruto. They even poisoned him once after he was in hospital after a training accident. Luckily Itachi and kurama noticed this then helped naruto get the poison out his system and fire that nurse.
