this more like a picnic but oh well lmaO
im procrastinating on this so hard)

Ink and Error were going on a date.

Not their first time, but they didn't usually go out.

They preferred to just relax in the Doodlesphere together, or, more specific, Inks home that was placed in the Doodlesphere.

It wasn't exactly a normal date either, they didn't go out anywhere -no. They set up a quick little picnic between them both.

Just Error, Ink and the soon to be sunset.

The grass was short and prickly, trees scattered here and there in the hills- they had chosen an AU that had managed to get to the surface for this.

Ink had a phone for pictures, mostly of the beautiful surroundings.

Error didn't really mind, he was fine so long as Ink enjoyed it.

Perfect, right?

Not exactly.

"Error!? Why is there only chocolate?!"

Ink waved a chocolate bar at his partner, picking up another from the picnic basket filled with only chocolate bars to wave that at him as well.

"Wha-t?! You want-ed me to cho--se the food this tim-e!"

"Yes! Food! Not sugar!"

"Yo-u like choc-olate! Stop compla--a-ain-ing!"

Ink groaned, dropping the chocolates on the plaid blanket they had chosen to sit on during this special occasion.

Error picked them up, deciding to eat one as Ink glared at him.

Error made sure to give Ink a smug grin as he ate the second one, now that he'd noticed the glaring.

"I really hate you sometimes, you know that."

"Ye-p."

Error did not take offence, knowing it was more of a 'I really get seriously annoyed by you' than a literal 'I hate you'.

"There goes my diet..."

"Yo-u dont hav-e a di-et."

"Shut up Error."

Error smiled, grabbing one of the many, many chocolates he had stuffed into their basket and held it out to Ink.

Ink begrudgingly took it.

"Just enjoy the even-ing, the ni-ce cold ai-r, the sun-set, the... tr-ees..."

"Ah yes, the very romantic trees."

Error rolled his eyes.

He took another chocolate bar before realizing he was unable to take it much further than the basket- he looked back to figure out the reason of his sudden immobility.

Ink smirked at him, holding the same chocolate bar.

Error frowned, having a thought of pulling it closer to get Ink to pull it as well, and then let go so Ink got smacked.

Error just let go, going for a different chocolate bar.

He could practically sense the smugness radiating off of Ink for winning the chocolate bar despite the fact he could have just gotten another one...

"Im grounding you from chocolate for the rest of the day, and maybe tomorrow btw."

"Did you-u just say- bt-w?"

"Yes, I did."

Error was silent, trying to decide if btw was worse than literally saying LOL- he decided to ignore the 'grounding' situation since he knew Ink couldn't keep him from his chocolate even if he tried.

Error was broke from his thoughts by a harsh jab to his ribs, making him wince and rub the spot.

"Th-e fuck was that- for-r-for?!"

"Look at the sky! Its so pretty!"

Error glanced to the sky, his irritation washed away from the indeed pretty colors swirling there.

Sunsets and sunrises were pretty up there on his favorite things chart, nearly next to stars.

Ink grabbed his camera after a few seconds of watching the view- he needed to capture this!

All the colors! The purples, the blues, the yellows, oranges and reds! All so beautiful!

The clouds seemed to mix in there perfectly, adding even more décor to the already detailed painting- perhaps he would actually paint this later.

Error hummed from beside him.

"Th-at is very prett-y."

Ink grinned, seizing the opportunity for flirting.

"Not as pretty as you~"

Error responded with a huff.

Ink snickered, he could see Error's cheekbones starting to color.

He took a picture of that as well- he could paint this later too.

He aimed it back towards the sky, it seemed Error had not noticed.

Mission complete.

"In-k..."

Maybe not- had he noticed..?

"...I lo-ve you."

Ink flushed, giving Error a sweet smile- his partner was still avoiding eye contact, azure blush becoming quickly visible.

Man, Error got flustered easily.

"I love you too Glitchy."

But that was just one of the infinite reasons he loved him.

Maybe the date was perfect after all.
