Error glared.
He was glaring a lot today, and would probably keep glaring.
Ink was here, forcing him to hangout with the one mutual "friend" they, apparently, had.
Blueberry.
He was glaring, because he never wanted to speak to another Blue, let alone see one.
Error didn't even want to look at one.
Yet, here he was, forced to do exactly what he did not want to do.
And, just to add onto this miserable day, they were in the Anti-Void.
Why?
Error wouldn't leave to go on the stupid playdate, so Ink brought Blueberry to him instead.
He could see Ink was visibly annoyed by his excessive glaring, it had only been a few minutes since Ink and brought Blue and Error just knew that Ink was thinking of how childish he acted.
He just k n e w that was what was going on inside Inks mind.
"Sooo... Error! How have you been!" Blueberry tried to start up conversation, awkwardly smiling.
He kept glaring, not saying anything.
He despised the attempt at breaking the tense atmosphere.
He worked hard to make it tense.
Maybe if it gets too tense (awkwardness was quickly growing as well as everyone obviously tried to come up with something to say, except for Error that is) Ink would leave with Blue.
"Error! Answer him." Ink hissed into his earhole.
He glared at Ink, seeing Blueberry instantly slump in relief- having an intense, threatening gaze stuck on him was definitely unsettling.
Ink sighed, resting his hand on his forehead in irritation, slightly kneading his bones as if he had a headache to take care of- maybe he did, who knows.
"Sorry Blue, he's in one of his moods."
Error opened his mouth to snap something, shutting it without a word just a moment later.
He comes into his home.
He brings the fucking "friend" he didn't want to hang out with.
He knew full well he didn't want to socialize.
And then he insults him about having a mood.
Seems like something Ink would do.
He cracked a grin, reflecting the amusing thought.
Quickly remembering he wasn't alone, he flattened it out into his flat 'im about to kill you' look he had earlier.
"Ink, does he hate me?"
Error blinked, he realized Ink and Blue had actually taken a few steps away from him- more than a few actually- and seemed to be having their own conversation.
Blinking again, he noticed that Blue was crying.
That's pathetic, a few glares and he's crying.
"No-no-no! He's like this too everyone."
"You told me he was nice though..."
"Well uh- the definition of nice is different around him, he's being a prick right now but he'll warm up eventually, I promise."
'You think thats pathetic but you start crying when Ink says he hates you.'
He growled, did he ask for a comparison between Ink being high on anger and Blueberry crying?
No, he didn't.
'Pfft, good point. Errors the real pathetic one here.'
'Yeah he's just an idiot.'
'Hey hey hey, Error! Knock knock.'
He responded with nothing, still acutely aware he had company, absent-mindedly staring at the floor.
'Ill answer for him, whos there?'
'No'
'No who?'
'Nobody! Cause he's alone and always will be! LOL'
'Lmao wow that was a sad knock knock joke, literally.'
Error slouched, skull in his hands as he rested his elbows on the ground.
He was bored.
He wouldn't admit he was hurt by the comments.
Just bored, that was all anyone needed to know.
He looked up, hearing the distant buzz of his guests 'personal' (not so personal since he could hear it) conversation drop.
He blinked, slightly freaking out when he was grabbed by his shoulders- yanked up into a proper sitting position.
He calmed when he realized it was Ink.
Ink wouldn't hurt him.
He'd touched him before.
No need to panic over this.
He was then pulled into a hug.
Confused, he awkwardly accepted, putting his own arms around Ink.
"U-h- wh-ats this-s for?"
"We can hear the Voices too, remember?"
"O-h... ri-ght..." Error clearly cringed, it was in his voice as well as his new expression.
As long as one was in the Anti-Void, one could hear the Voices, if only a distant whisper or as clear speech did not particularly matter.
"They aren't correct, you know?"
"I kn-ow, don-t worry abo-ut it, the-y don-t bother me-e any-more." He attempted to reassure, staring at Blueberry who seemed less intimidated now that he wasn't glaring- Blue was just next to Ink, sitting quietly, hadn't spoken a word to him since that one sentence from earlier.
"Thats a lie and you know it."
Error said nothing, though he noticeably snuggled deeper into the hug.
Ink gave him a little kiss on the forehead, making his cheek bones grow warm.
He could hear Blueberry start literally squealing, Ink even chuckled.
Welp, now he's deaf.
What happened to Blue being quiet..?
"You ready to socialize now?" Ink pat his head, causing Error to give him a look.
He liked the snuggle-hug, it made him warm...
"Y-eah wha-tever."
Ink snickered, letting him disengage the hug.
Error waited, now he too was feeling the awkwardness, as no-one said anything.
Blue, slightly squeamish, caught Errors gaze.
"If you have anything to tell us, the magnificent sans will gladly help you!"
Error rolled his eyes after a mere second, dismissing the other in one of the rudest ways possible.
The kind offer wasn't completely ignored, but it was denied.
"No-p-pe."
"Well alright, what should we do?-"
A phone rang, causing silence amongst the three of them as Blueberry fumbled with random pockets.
Slight irritated by the noise, Error watched.
How many pockets did he have???
Error was jealous, think about how much chocolate he could hide if he had that much pockets!
Finally, he achieved his goal, whipping the phone out with a small 'ah-ha!'.
Giving a apologetic glance to the both of them- in which Ink smiled while Error completely ignored it- before answering the phone.
Blues seemingly forever-lasting smile drooped into a disappointed frown.
"Aww, okay Papy, ill be there in a bit."
He hung up.
Error listened in for the sake of easedropping.
"I have to go, my brother needs me to cook, hmmph."
'Kinda sad his brother cant cook lmao.'
'Yeah tbh.'
Blue pouted, arms crossed, though his smile was back- probably happy to see his brother, wither annoyed or not, or maybe the Voices had amused him.
"Aww, so soon? Its only been like a hour."
An hour? Really? More like 10 minutes, but okay, maybe they actually had some quality time before coming here to force him into socializing.
"Yeah, im sorry... I can try to find more time tomorrow though!"
"Alright, that sounds good! Goodbye then!" Ink stood as well, dragging Error up with a quick hand, making him stumble and glare.
Blueberry suddenly went in to hug Ink, making Error jump.
He could tell Ink hadn't expected it either, almost falling over from the sudden force, but hugged back nontheless.
"Yep! Cya tomorrow Ink!"
When Blueberry turned to him he expected to be given the same treatment.
"Error, may I hug you?"
Or... maybe not.
Error gave Ink a uncertain, suspicious glance.
Ink gave him a guilty smile- so he had told Blue about his Haphephobia.
He didn't mind it, he was in fact glad about it, he just wanted to solve the momentary mystery; how did Blue know to be careful with touch around him?
Hesitantly, still a bit unsure about himself, he nodded.
Blueberry slid over to him, bear hugging him, quite tightly- he didn't even let Error hug back, given that his arms were included in this full-body hug.
He gave a tight grin, slightly pained by the intensity of the hug, when Blue glanced up at him with a questioning look, silently asking if Error was good.
He felt like he was being literally squeezed in half, but said nothing about it- Ink was giving him a certain look; a dangerous mix between smugness and pride.
Seeing the grin Error gave, Blue smiled- like smiled really, really big- and kept on ̶C̶h̶o̶k̶i̶n̶g̶ hugging him.
Error glared at Ink, letting it be known that he was not happy about the smirk the other was giving him.
"I'll see you tomorrow as well Error!"
Error muttered a short 'bye' which was appearing to be good enough as Blue happily left the hug.
Blueberry left with Ink, Ink needing to help Blue reach his AU safely, thus why he was coming with.
Error had a feeling Ink was gonna come continue the hangout between just the two of them, but, until then, Error could hang out with his puppets- literally hang out, since the puppets needed to be connected to his strings for movement to be possible-
"P-hhf, I'm n-ot fun-ny." He commented to himself, a slight chuckle mixed into the words, honestly amused at his failure at being amusing.
Not exactly surprising information.
