"Remi-nd me wh-y I agr-eed to this again-?" Error frowned as Ink knocked on the door to Blues house- a Halloween party this time.

Error didn't understand why Ink thought dressing up as each other would be a great costume- it wasn't even scary! In fact, it made him less intimidating while wearing the idiots clothes!

"Because I asked you nicely?" Ink asked slowly, turning to him with a nervous smile.

"N-o. You prom-ised me choc-late, so wh-eres my paym-ent."

Ink huffed. "Its inside, Blueberry has all kind of snacks and activities too do! Its gonna be great!"

"Y-eah sounds gre-at."

The door opened, revealing Dream. "Hey guys." He greeted immediately.

"Oh- hey Dream! Wheres Blue?"

"Hes inside, cmon in!"

And with that, Error was unwillingly dragged inside.

Deciding to make the most out of this situation, he headed towards Blueberry who was on the couch, chatting with Science.

"Hey Bl-ue."

Blueberry actually jolted, almost getting him amused.

"Error! You came?"

Science waved at him when he was given a glance- Error remembered him from the Christmas Party Blue had hosted, that was a interesting time for sure.

"In-k forced me to-o." He grumbled. "Bu-t do you h-ave any... choc-late?"

Blueberry smiled. "Yes, its over there on the food table." He pointed across the room too the kitchen where on the counter there were the snacks Ink had promised- chocolate was there, thankfully- and a group of people were chatting.

Error nodded in thanks, absently checking Inks locations as he looked around- he was still talking with Dream, unsurprisingly.

Error inwardly thanked the stars he hadn't been somehow forced into the conversation.

While he hated crowds, he supposed Ink had dragged him into enough parties (and the some he'd willingly came to) that he'd gotten somewhat used to it, so grabbing a chocolate and making a run for it wasn't that bad.

Planting himself on the opposite side of the couch that the still-chatting Blueberry and Sci were dwelling, he began eating the chocolate- slowly, for once- as he simply analyzed the party.

There were Halloween decorations strewn about, some of the 'activities' Ink had mentioned (that he could see) seemed to be something like pumpkin carving and baking a pie? How was baking a pie Halloween themed?

Error shrugged to himself. Ink appeared then, sitting beside him and resting against the arm couch.

"Error? Wanna go carve some pumpkins?" Ink grinned, looking at him hopefully.

He supposed he didn't have anything better to do, and he had came (unwillingly) to celebrate Halloween so...

Quickly finishing the chocolate- wrapper and all (he almost laughed at the perplexed looks he got by the ones who had seen this, aside from Ink)- and nodded.

Ink led him towards the table- he didn't even notice the ones that had been carving before-hand had left.

While he stared at the pumpkins Ink immediately grabbed the most deformed looking one, waving him over.

"Tha-t ones ug-ly." He noted the obvious

"I know, thats why I chose it."

"...Alri-ght."

Ink smiled. "Wanna do half and half when we carve it? You can get the seeds out though."

"And ho-w do I do th-at?"

Error sighed as Ink handed him a knife and ran his fingers in a circle motion around the stem.

. . .

"You wou-lda thou-gh they'd do this for you-u." Error growled, fishing his hand into the hole he had created.

"Theres way too many pumpkins for them to do that." Ink replied, watching him. Error swore he had a smug grin for making Error have to grind the pumpkins guts out.

. . .

Error frowned at Ink hands, they had moved onto the carving part now and his side looked like shit, while Inks looked like actual art.

They were trying to do a mix of both their faces; half of Errors face on the left, half of Inks on the right.

When Error sat back, not really knowing what else to do with it- carving out his damned strings had been a grueling task- he couldn't help but notice Ink glance at it.

"That looks great Error!" He smiled, actually smiled at his failure at carving.

"I-ts terri-ble." Error corrected bluntly.

Now Ink was frowning, giving him a glance before returning to working on his side- he seemed to be almost done. "You gotta start somewhere."

Error shrugged to himself, balancing his skull on his hands (he had cleaned them of the previous guts). "Whe-n are we -le-aving?"

Ink gave him another look, then sighed. "I guess after this, people are already leaving so I guess we got here kinda late."

"Not surpir-sing sin-ce you forgo-t sev-en ti-mes which AU it -was bei-ng hosted in."

"You counted?!"

"Y-ep."

Ink made a clearly faked sad face, looking at him in 'shock'.

Error rolled his eyes. "At leas-t fifty perc-ent of th-e punki-n looks good."

"Hundred percent, Error."

"Fi-fty."

"StOp doWngradiNg your ArT."

"N-o. Now focus on you-r dumb punk-in so we can lea-ve."

"Oh my god Error your so mean."

"Tr-agic."

"Can't you enjoy this?"

"N-o."
