~𝐀𝐫𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐝~ {𝐃𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐨 𝐱 𝐀𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞}

"Adeline!" My mother called from downstairs, I let out a sigh placing my sketch book on my side table and going down the stairs.

"Yes?"  I say, seeing her holding the phone.

"I just got off the phone with Narssica your going to the Malfoy's for the week to work." She says, with a devilish glint in her eye.

"We have plenty of money there is no need I can see for me to-,"

"Your going. End of story. Now go pack your bag and be ready in and hour." She says dismissing me. Neither of my parents have ever been the most nurturing type but they're not usually straight up rude. In all honesty I wouldn't mind working, but for the Malfoy's? You see I've had this competition with Draco if that's even what you call it for years. We always try to best each other no matter what it may be that we're doing. I've been told from outsiders that it's quite on quote "flirtatious fighting", which I can't completely rule out as being untrue. Once upon a time Draco and myself were very close, in fact, he was my first kiss as I was his, but as the years have past we've grown apart. Might I say he has grown quite attractive though. Now, now Adeline don't let your thoughts run wild. Draco is average you've known that since you got over your crush in fourth year, my subconscious reminds me. I begin to pack my bag, throwing whatever I see fit into the charmed suitcase. The Malfoy's are basically family so there's no need for formality. Well... maybe pack one formal outfit you never know. I decide on a short black dress with puffed sleeves and small floral print, pairing it with some black pumps and silver jewelry. I'm currently still I'm my pajamas so it seems right to change I pull out a pair of faded ripped black jeans and an old Slytherin sweatshirt that I don't even remember getting. I look in the mirror and shrug.

"It'll do I guess." I mumble to myself,

"Adeline it's time to go." My mother yells, I grab the suitcase and take my time getting downstairs. "We're traveling by floo." She says, I nod rolling my eyes and taking a handful of powder.

"Malfoy manor," I say loudly once in the fireplace. Green flames ingulf me and I reappear in the manor. I step out of the fireplace into the sitting room to see the entire Malfoy family including the recently escaped prisoner Bellatrix Lestrange, who has a wicked smile painted across her face. Narssica comes forward greeting me with a hug.

"What a lovely young woman you've grown into over the summer." She says patting my back. I smile and thank her. Receiving greeting from the rest of the family lastly being Draco. I hold out my hand and to my surprise he pulls me into hug. He comes close to my ear and whispers

"Enjoying wearing my sweatshirt are we" my body stiffens and I remember just where I got this sweatshirt.

It's early September and quidditch season has just started. To say I'm exited would be an understatement. I get to play today. I would get to play every game, but bloody Draco and I play the same position, so we have to switch out every other game. Standing out on the damp field we are told to mount our brooms.  The anticipation is killing me, but finally I hear the whistle and push hard off the ground sending myself into the sky. It's about ten minutes into the game before I spot the snitch. Immediately I race after it, closing in I fly low to the ground. Too low I guess because next thing I know my face hits the ground and my vision is blurry. I feel someone rush to my side and heave me up.
"It's okay Jordans. I got you." they say, it takes a moment but with the minty fresh scent radiating off of them I know it's Malfoy. He leads me to a bench sitting me down.
"Hold on," he says,
He pulls a sweatshirt over my pounding head and puts my hair up.
"God you're a fucking mess." he mumbles,

How did I not remember that?! Pulling away with a smirk he returns to standing next to Lucius. This is going to be a long fucking week, I can already tell.
