This chapter will be dedicated to ZXxani whom voted each and every single chapter of the poems that I wrote in this book. May you have an independent day ahead of you!

What do people do when their empty cup is overflowing?

With their emotions seeping out of the surface and onto the saucer,

Maybe, some would lash it out on anybody and everything,

Others whom sat quietly in a gloomy state by the corner,

Or simply eat, sing, dance or do a heavy workout.

But I'm not them and they're not me, no need to compare,

I simply scribble letters as I let my mind and hands do their thing,

Which I knew would somehow end up burning in the embers of fire,

The world is somehow deaf and I'm the only one who can hear me,

The world is somehow blind and I'm the only one who can see me,

The world is somehow cold and I'm the only one who can warm me,

Yes! Only me, with these letters of mine as the epitome of frustrations,

The bitter aftertaste of the long run to which we call life,

So, do a favour for yourself just like what I did to mine,

If no one is simply listening to you nor are they paying attention,

Write your frustrations and overflowing emotions in a piece of paper,

Maybe you'll feel better and maybe it's just not your cup of tea,

The point is to have time for yourself, your feelings and needs,

Because no one else would truly pick you up but your own self.

"This poem tells about our overflowing emotions to which sometimes, with the world so busy with their own lives, nobody is even paying you any attention. It simply states that we all have family and friends whom most of the time, are right there by our side. But there are also times when they need to think about their own selves, thus leaving you to deal with your emotions in the process. So, learn to be independent for the sake of those lonely days..."
