Poison

You were the poison that devoured me,

Your words spoke of the barren souls,

Making me shiver off of it's hidden malice,

My veins that are green of toxicity,

It was you who peppered my blood of it,

And the hallucinations that spouted,

Non-stop out of my delusional mind,

Adding to the somber color of my heart,

It made me jitter like the sands of time,

Caging me along with the ravens on Earth,

Helpless, I could only watch your movement,

Twisting me like a puppet with strings,

You were also the drug in my system,

That I would crave ever so often,

You wrapped me perfectly,

Around your pretty little fingers.
