Once upon a star, on every cold empty eve,
I would travel upon oceans of desolate space,
On my boat that's carved from my own soul,
Its threshold filled with aching wallows,
And bellowing howls of the midnight universe,
I would often fish the stars when I'm lost,
Gently whispering my dead dreams and pain,
It sucked their light away to hear something dark,
So sinister that it twisted my heart and made,
My eyes spill with black tears of sorrow,
Then I would tuck them back in its ocean,
And sail away to the unknown, wanting to find,
The shores that would take me back home,
Only making myself more lost and alone.
