"I sense a theme song near my nipponian ass." Hikaru spoke up. "This calls for the big question. Why'd you wanna fight me, MC-kun? The audience is all curious, so let's give them what they want! I'm curious aswell, so spill it out!"
"I knew you'd bring up that sooner or later." Ryuuga said, a small smile appearing on his face. "Fine then, If you're that curious, I'll tell you all you wanna know! The story of how we met is a funny one. I was the scrawny shy guy who couldn't say a complete phrase without pausing or stuttering. The first big step towards changing myself would be stepping into Heiwa, and I almost did it... But then I thought that I couldn't do it. It was too terrifying. A wuss like me would never survive in a place like that, I'd be better off trying to make my dream come true another way. I was about call it quits and walk away when some jackass got his arm around me and asked me if I was the shy type. One second too late or too soon, and my life would have taken a whole different route. I can't even begin to imagine how everything would be if that didn't happen. All the results I come to is how miserable of a life I'd be living. It'd honestly be a really shitty visual novel if you ask me. But that didn't happen. Instead, some dumbass had to balls to ask that shy loser nerd if he was the shy type, and here we are."
"Yeah. It's a funny story." Hikaru said, a small smile appearing on his face. "To be honest, so much of what I have now, I wouldn't have it if you gave up on me when you had the chance. If you had let me leave town after that whole betrayal thing, I'd be a no one on Kyoto. No Strelzia, no Renji and Ichigo, no no one." He admitted.
"I can say the same about you. The world's a funny place, y'know? Two random ass losers meet, their lives change forever. And c'mon, giving up on you? Why'd I give up on the biggest headache on the planet? I know this is a corny ass thing to say, but who the hell do you think I am?"
"He who got blueballed by a bench."
"That's also true, but it's in the past. So yeah, that's why I wanted to fight you. Just to thank you for everything. I know it's cheesy, but it's still not as cheesier as Masato."
"You speak the true true."
"Yeah, I know. So like you said, the people want it, so let's give it to 'em! Stand and draw! Starting at a minor point in time, exploding into the greatest timeline! Burst and take shape, my bonds!"
Snatching a holographic card from the arragement of cards over his hand, Ryuuga threw the card into the skies, it turning into a flash of light blue light that blasted into the skies and gleamed like a star before coming crashing down behind Ryuuga like a thunderbolt in the shape of a pillar of light. A shadow formed within a pillar, a shadow that shoved its right fist out of the pillar and slammed it into the floor next to Ryuuga, shattering the light blue pillar. By Ryuuga's side, Chronojet Dragon stared at the opponent before them, crouching as if to start running.
"Break free from the constrains of time and unveil that gleaming future beyond the known horizon! Ride! Speed ahead one more time, Chronojet Dragon! (13000)" Ryuuga roared. "Imaginary Gift, Force I! (13000>>23000) Call, Smokegear Dragon! (10000) Smokegear's skill, all cards in my hand are regarded as grade 3s when discarded! Chronojet Dragon's skill! Take this key and unlock a path to the future!"
Ryuuga grabbed one of his cards and threw it into his drop zone, making his deck spread out and blast one of the cards within it into the skies. The wheels at the bottom of Chronojet Dragon's legs began spinning as the thrusters on his back roared until he blasted into the skies, chasing after the card. As he got further anf further into the skies, Chronojet grabbed the card, turning himself into a light blue star and quickly took on a dark purplish colour.
"Hear the cry of the gear beast who's wings soar through the sands of time! Burn away the scourges of time with the flames coating your golden-clad wings!"
