"You know, if you have to hide a headquarters, it's a beautiful place to do it. It's a beautiful view." "Very lovely, indeed." It was in that moment that I knew I liked her. Even though Violet and I  hadn't known each other very long, I knew that if I had to choose someone that I would want to date, it would be her. At first I didn't think I liked her, but as we spent more time together, I realized I did. Sometimes I wondered if she liked me; it was hard to tell. I tried to find a chance to tell her, but I never could. Eventually, we went our separate ways, and then I knew that I didn't have a chance. My brother Duncan also liked Violet, but he had said that it was one of those small crushes that eventually goes away and that he didn't want to like her more than he already did since he thought that he was out of her league. Even though he had said he only liked her a little bit, there was still some competition. We never could tell who Violet liked, or if she liked anybody. She could like one of us, someone else, or no one. I was hoping I would get to see her again to tell her I liked her, and maybe I would. I would just have to see if a situation comes up where I run into her.
