One day after thinking about what to do with Violet, I was walking around at the beach. I had decided that we could go roller skating. I thought it might be fun and she might enjoy it. While I was at the beach walking around, I saw Violet, Klaus, and Sunny. Klaus and Sunny were leaving, so I assumed they were leaving to let Sunny make something for her, Klaus, and Violet to eat later. Violet had stayed, though, but I wasn't sure why. I thought she would have went with Klaus and Sunny. I walked around a little bit more before going up to her because I didn't want to make anything awkward. She didn't notice me at first, so I sat next to her. "Hi," she said without looking at me. She was making something to help Klaus for when he was reading, at least that's what it looked like. "Hi," I answered. Violet looked at me and smiled, so I smiled back. "What are you making?" I asked. "It's a little portable light for reading at night. I made it small so it's portable, but I made it big enough to keep up with," Violet responded. "Oh, I see," I replied, looking at the light. Violet smiled, proud of what she made. "So what are you doing here?" she asked. "I just wanted to walk around," I said. "What about you?" "Klaus, Sunny, and I just came to get out of the house and have something to do," Violet said. I smiled a little in understandment. "If you're not doing anything later, do you want to go roller skating?" I asked. "Yeah," Violet responded, smiling. I smiled back. "After we get done roller skating, we can go walk around and look at the mountains and snow if you want. It's supposed to be pretty today," I suggested. "Sure," Violet agreed.
