I had gotten ready to go eat with Violet early because I didn't want to be late. I didn't consider it a date because she might not like me like that, but I hoped she would still enjoy going to eat even if she didn't. I tried distracting myself so I would have something to do until then. Eventually, it was time for me to go to the beach to pick up Violet and Sunny. I went to the beach half expecting them to have left, but surprisingly they were still there. I walked up to them. "Are you ready?" I asked. Sunny looked up at me and Violet looked over at me. "Yeah," Violet said and smiled. I thought it was pretty when she smiled, but I tried not to show it. "Let's go," I said. Sunny stood up and then we started off to go eat.
