I had been trying for a while to figure out how to help Quigley tell Violet he liked her. Although he didn't seem like it, Quigley was the kind of person who's usually a social butterfly, but when it came to liking someone, he would get nervous and try to hide it. He hoped it wasn't obvious when he got nervous, and he was usually pretty good at hiding it, except when he really liked them. Others might not notice it or think anything of it, but I could usually tell. It might be because of how long I've known him that I was able to tell by the way he acted that he liked someone. Quigley had started to like Violet a little more, and when I realized that, I hoped he didn't know that Duncan was starting to like her more, too. Even though Quigley said that he didn't mind Duncan liking Violet, too, and wouldn't be bothered by it, I knew that he would still be hurt if Duncan worked up the courage to ask Violet out and she said yes.
