Redstone Shenanigans

On a backup of the Hermitcraft Season 7 world

"Hey G! Its about time I taught you how to do redstone!" yelled Mumbo on the backup world. He had insisted that Grian should learn some form of redstone and for some reason, Mumbo was excited to teach Grian redstone. 

"You know I hate you right?" Replied Grian.

"I know, so this is payback for pranking me so many times." Mumbo replied with a giant grin plastered on his face.

Hours of torture later 

"Sooooooooooo, then if I put this here, and this thingy there, I've made a working automatic sugar cane farm?????????" Grian asked, still highly doubting that he had just learnt redstone.

"YES, THAT'S IT," Mumbo looked over joyed about this. "OK, G, I'm going to mess around with some more redstone over near the shopping district, I'll let you mess around with your base more." Mumbo said as he flew of to the shopping district.

OK, this is the time that you've been waiting for, thought Grian, time to destroy his base on the backup world. Grian had a cheeky grin on his face as he took out redstone dust and repeaters. He started of with planting the button, the thing that would trigger the redstone, then, he made a giant line of redstone dust and repeaters. He only just learnt how to use them and he was happy to put his new redstone skills to play. The redstone line led to Mumbo's base, and then Grian started clearing out what was under his base and cleared as much space inside the place as possible. Now, the most tedious part of the whole process. He had to make this aesthetically pleasing to the eye. He made it so the the redstone would also trigger fireworks, just to make Mumbo even more pissed off.

Grian called Mumbo over to near his base to show him what he'd been working on fir the last couple hours.

"So Mumbo, do you want to know what happens what you press the button?" asked Grian.

"OK, what happens?" replied Mumbo. Grian grinned as he pressed the button and they both moved back. Fireworks lit up and covered the sky.

"Is that it??" asked Mumbo, he was surprised that this took Grian the best of 2 hours.

"No, just wait and watch." Grian replied while grinning. Mumbo had a very bad feeling about this. Then, his base exploded. Mumbo screamed his head off as his beautiful base, the one thing that he had been working on for ages, had just obliterated into nothingness. Grian was at his side, laughing so hard that he nearly choked himself.

"YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEN YOUR REACTION MUMBO," Grian said, choking with laughter, "This is a backup world, silly! It will still be on the actual server."

"I regret teaching you redstone." Mumbo muttered under his breath, he had just seen his beautiful base blown up  by a man he literally JUST taught.

"Sooooo, wanna go back to Hermitcraft?" asked Grian.

"I've never heard you say something so darn smart." replied Mumbo, as they walked into the Hub and back to Hermitcraft.
