Just Another Girl [On Hiatus]

II - Friends

Kanae Eichi's POV

"Oh! Ei-chan! Ohayo!" Said Hinode Shigatsu, my only girl friend. As I sat down beside her.

"Ohayo, Shi-chan" I smiled and then put my bag down. She was on her phone and it seemed like she was playing.

I sat down and just stared at the classroom. Now and then, greeting classmates that enter the room.

Shigatsu and I hang out real often. Since Iwa-chan and Oikawa were 3rd years and we didn't get to meet much. Since we had different schedules.

It was already lunchtime. Shi-chan and I were under a tree eating our bentos.

"Ei-chan, let's review for the upcoming quiz!" She said as she pulled out her notebook then taking a bite out of her food.

"Oh, sure! I'll just go get my notes, I left in the classroom" she nodded and I went to grab the notes.

On my way, I saw Iwa-chan smacking Oikawa in the head. "Pfft, trashykawa getting hit by Iwa-chan again" I silently laughed.

"NANI?" Oikawa shouted as he turned around and looked my way pissed. But when he saw me, he quickly became all pretty and said "Ei-chan!!" He ran after me but he was pulled away by Iwa-chan.

"She's got class, trashykawa!"

I quickly turned away while laughing and ran towards my classroom.

Once I got my notes, I then went back to the tree. When I came back, Shi-chan was already finished eating and was already reading her notes.

I quickly finished my bento and then we reviewed for the upcoming quiz.

I needed to pass it. I am a top scorer, Shi-chan is one too. So, I can't let my grades that I've worked so hard for, to just go down. That's why we review together.

Because, together, we bring the best out of each other. I teach her geography, and she teaches me math.

She's a very dear friend, and very much like a sister. We even eat ice cream after school sometimes, together with Iwa-chan and Oikawa or just the two of us girls.

Our favorite ice cream is the chocolate mochi one, or the vanilla-chocolate ice cream sandwich which tastes good as well!

After reviewing, we went back to the classroom and the class started. We had our quiz.

Yosh! We both got perfect scores! It's always great to know that you have each other's backs. After the class, we talked about our interests and all that stuff.

"So, which of them?" She asked, and I was quite confused as to what she was asking about.

"Which of what Shi-chan?"

"The boys. Ahem. Oikawa-san? Iwaizumi-san? Maybe one from the boys in the volleyball team?" She said while wiggling her eyebrows.

My eyes widened and my face showed an expression of disgust. Then I hit her playfully.

"Disgusting! Shi-chan! First of all, Oikawa is trash, he could be awarded the most annoying jerk. Iwa-chan is nice, but I see him as a brother figure!" I explained

"A lot of girls likes Oikawa you know," she whispered

"Yeah, I know, I don't know what they see in him."

"hahahahaha alright then" she said and started fixing her stuff

I started to fix my desk as well.

"You done? Let's go?" I asked her

"Yup!" She exclaimed

"Ice cream?" She asked

"Yah sure let's gooo!" I told her and she dragged me outside the classroom and to a nearby convenience store.
