Just Another Girl [On Hiatus]

III - Trashykawa

Kanae Eichi's POV

Ice cream! We both got a chocolate mochi. But I bought exactly 4, 2 for me, and 1 for my mother, then one for my father.

Shi-chan bought 3 and she ate them all. Gosh does this girl never get fat?

A week has passed and I've been quite busy. I had a lot of school work to finish, assignments to pass, projects to be done.

Shi-chan on the other hand had all of those too. But she had a sport so she gets excused most of the time.

She does ice skating. I don't know why she won't attend a good school for that. She just wants to go to Aoba Johsai for some reason.

I won't judge her though. She really likes it here. She's really good at skating too, I heard she got Silver in her last competition.

I've only seen her skate a few times, and that's when she practices. We even review sometimes while she skates.

I was in the classroom, helping her do a headstand using the wall. When suddenly...

"Kanae-san! Oikawa-senpai is calling for you" shouted a classmate of ours

I gently let Shi-chan's leg down and walked to the door.

"What do you want Oikawa-san?" I asked politely

"Oikawa-san? Ei-channn~ you don't have to call me that"

"Fine, what do you want trashykawa?"

"T-trashykawa?!" He asked and had a gloomy face

"Yes. Trashykawa, we have class. Why are you even here?" Said a familiar voice from behind Oikawa. It was Iwa-chan, the one and only.

He dragged Oikawa away which left me dumbfounded. I just shrugged and went back to helping Shi-chan.

"What'd Mr. PrettyButShitty say?" She asked

"Well, I called him Oikawa-san, and he said I didn't need to call him that. So I called him trashykawa"

"T-trashykawa? PFFHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA" she laughed so loud that I had to cover her loud mouth to stop everyone from staring at us.

"Mmph mh!" Her words were muffled as I still had my hand over her mouth.

"Oh Gomen" I said and removed my hand then I wiped my hand on her skirt.

"Okay, was that all that happened?" She asked

"Iwa-chan came and dragged him back to class,"

"He got dragged by Iwaizumi-san? Something you'd see almost every day." Shi-chan said matter-of-factly

"True" was all I could say because the door opened and the teacher entered.

So we both went back to our seats.

After class

"Hey, Shi-chan, wanna go watch the volleyball boys team practice?" I asked her

"Sure! Why not, I'm free today anyways" she said while shrugging and fixing her books

"Yay! I'll just finish writing the notes I haven't copied yet, and let's go!" I said and jotted down the remaining parts of the lesson I haven't written down.

Once I finished, we stopped to get some milk cartons for each of us then we proceeded to the volleyball gym.

I went in and sat on one of the benches nearby. Oikawa wasn't playing. Probably 'cause of that injury he got.

We watched them for a few minutes before getting bored. We were going to get up and leave but then Iwa-chan came to us.

"Hey, we've got a practice match against Karasuno," he said while wiping his sweat

"Karasuno? Yeah, I'm not familiar with any other schools" I said

"Ohh you mean the ones with black uniforms?" Asked Shi-chan

"Yes, but who are you?" Iwa-chan asked

Shi-chan gasped and clutched her heart like she was having a heart attack. "I'm hurt! How can a senpai not know his kouhai?"

"Gomen Iwa-chan she's a bit crazy" I whispered but that did not prove effective

"Nani?! Me crazy? Hey Hey! You are crazy too!" She said and crossed her arms.

"Sorry for being rude there," said Iwa-chan to Shi-chan.

Shi-chan looked at him and took his hand that was extended for her to shake.

"Hinode, Hinode Shigatsu." She said

"Hinode-san, nice to meet you," Iwa-chan said

"E-eh? I-Iwa-chan's being nice!" I said

"What's that supposed to mean?!" He said with a nasty expression as he hit my head lightly.

We just laughed and Iwa-chan stayed and practiced more while Shi-chan and I went home.
