IX - Seijoh

Kanae Eichi's POV

It was already Monday. I was getting ready for school when the doorbell rang.

"I'll get it," said my mother as she stood from the dining table and went to get the door.

"Yes she's here" I can hear my mother's voice

"Oh please! Come inside," mother's voice said and she came into the dining room, behind her was Shi-chan

Shi-chan waved at me and smiled. Of course, I waved back with a confused look. Why was she here?

"Ohayo gozaimasu," she said and bowed to both my parents

"Ohayo gozaimasu," my father greeted back,

"Ohayo gozaimasu, would you like to eat?" Greeted and asked my mother

"Oh, thank you for the offer Kanae-san, but I already ate, so I'm feeling pretty full," Shi-chan said and then mother nodded and gestured for Shi-chan to sit down.

My mother stood up and grabbed a glass. "If you do not want to eat, may I at least give you something to drink?" Mother said, really wanting to do something for Shi-chan

"Oh um sure Kanae-san, I'll take water," Shi-chan said politely

Mother went into the kitchen and I can hear the pouring of water. Then she came back and gave Shi-chan the glass of water.

"Arigato," Shi-chan said and bowed slightly before grabbing the glass.

After eating, I stood up and excused myself.

"We'll get going now, okaa-san, otou-san," I said and then left with Shi-chan.

Of course, Shi-chan also said her goodbyes respectfully.

"You know, you didn't have to come to get me," I told her as I grabbed my bag

"Yeah I know, but it would be nicer if we walked together," she told me

"Yeah... I guess you do have a point, but still!"

"Still what?- oh wait.." She said as her phone buzzed. She took it out and probably texted something then she put it back in the pocket of her blazer.

"Who was that?"

"Oh, it was Shoyo"

"S-shoyo?! As in Hinata-kun? The walking orange fluff ball?"

"Duh, I only know one Shoyo,"

"Right. OWEMJIII YOU GUYS TALKK???"

"Don't get ahead of yourself Eichi. We're friends"

"I didn't say you weren't," she looked at me,

"Uh-uhm," was all she could muster, we were already in the front gate of the school,

"Yeah, gotta go bye!" Shi-chan said and ran off into the building, her light brown hair, with wavy ends, swaying violently as she ran.

"Hey! Hey! Don't leave me! Shigatsuuuuu!!!!!" I screamed as I was about to run after her. But a hand-pulled my arm backwards, making me trip, but luckily, I maintained my balance.

"WHAT THE?! oh Oika-chan? What did you think you were doing? I could've tripped!!"

"But you didn't!"

"But I did! Baka!"

"Hehe, anyways, let's walk together!"

"Whatever, where's Iwa-chan?" I said as I looked over his shoulder to see if Seijoh's ace was there.

"Ei-channnnnn~ I'm here. Why would you find Iwa-chan, when I'm here~?" He whined

"Because! Iwa-chan is better,"

"Well, you just gotta deal with ME! Because Iwa-chan, is not here, he's with Makki and Mattsun at a convenience store"

"Ah, which convenience store? Is it close?" I teased him more

"Seriously? Fine go find your Iwa-chan, have fun!" He said and walked away

He's gonna come back in 3 seconds hahahaha.

He did!

He pulled me by my wrist, and we entered the school.

"Let go of my wrist!" I whisper shouted to him, as a lot his fangirls are shooting bad looks at me, and on top of that, a lot of other people were whispering

Ugh, this man-child is such an issue.

Eventually, he let go when I started to hit him.

"Wha- stop it!!" He whined

"Bye!" I said and made a run for it, making sure to dodge him and then, I went to our classroom.

I opened our classroom door, and shut it immediately as well. It made a 'bang' when I shut it.

Panting, I lean my back against the door once I closed it.

Everybody in the classroom was looking at the noise,

Shi-chan had her phone in her hand and took one good look at me, before she burst out laughing.

I just greeted everyone.

"O-ohayo gozaimasu!" With a bow, then I quietly walked to my seat.

"Yo, what the hell happened with you and Oikawa-san?" Shi-chan asked giggling.

"How do you-"

"Totally did not see Oikawa-san behind you earlier, which is why I ran off. Totally did not." She said then, her phone buzzed.

"Hinata-kun again?" I asked curiously

"Uh no, different dude"

"Which dude?"

"Uhm, just a dude, not someone important"

I squinted my eyes at her. Then, I proceeded to fix my uniform which got a little disheveled.

Class was finished and we were outside.

"Wanna watch us today Ei-chan?" Asked Iwa-chan

"Sure of course!" I replied happily and grabbed a bag of chips.

We were at a convenience store with Iwa-chan, and Hanamaki-san.

"Oi, Ei-chan, what drink you want?" Shi-chan asked whilst she was in front of a freezer.

"Oh um, the usual for me" I said and she grabbed a carton of milk. Then she grabbed another but chocolate flavored.

We paid for our food and then went back to Seijoh, so we could watch them practice.
