Kanae Eichi's POV

We both went to the bleachers.

"Hey, Ei-chan look at this pic I found of you," Shi-chan said while showing me her phone

"What- ooh! I look cute!" I said and she looked at me with a weirded-out expression.

"You legit look like Dora, with the short hair and the bangs," she said

I hit her playfully. Then we both laughed.

Our teasing got to the point where she told me she'd pay for my haircut, as long as I'm going to shave my head bald.

Our jokes and laughs stopped and we diverted our eyes back to the game.

Woah, Karasuno was good! Their setter was a genius. Their quick! Number 10 was cool. Even Shi-chan was stunned.

My phone rang.

Oikawa is calling

I didn't bother to rename him. I picked up.

"Moshi Moshi?"

"Ei-chann~! Are you at the gym where the practice match is being held?"

"Yep"

"Ooh! I'm coming there right now! Don't come close to any Karasuno player!"

Then he hung up.

Shi-chan looked at me, she heard the conversation.

"What's his problem?" She said

I shrugged, "I don't actually know.."

We watched and watched. Although Shi-chan was mostly on her phone.

I took a quick peek at what she was doing.

I saw her send a middle finger emoji to the person she was talking to.

She noticed I was looking and she quickly hid her phone.

"Who you talking to?" I asked

"Hehe, no one Ei-chan! Let's go back to watching," she replied pointing to the court, and then she pocketed her phone and glued her eyes to the match in front of us.

"Okay.." I said and went back to watching the match.

It was during a timeout when Oikawa came.

"It's been a while, Tobio-chan~!" He said pointing to Number 9

'It's been a while?' what does he mean?-

Ohh he knows the genius setter? But why wouldn't he want me to get close to a Karasuno player?

Seriously no idea.

Oikawa was told to warm up thoroughly because of that injury a week ago.

He did his devilish instant killer serve. I rolled my eyes but at least we had a chance against winning.

~After the Practice match~

Yeah, I spoke too soon. We did not win.

Kindaichi-san and Kunimi-san were very disturbed by the behavior of Karasuno's setter. No idea why, but they were very disturbed by it. It was evident in their facial expressions and their actions.

Shi-chan and I went to the court and helped hand out the water bottles and towels.

While distributing the water bottles and towels, I got parted with Shi-chan. Hm? Where'd she go?

I looked for her and saw her giving some towels to some Karasuno players. I hurriedly ran to where she was because I really wanted to talk to at least one of the players.

"Ow!" I exclaimed as my bottom hit the court floor. I bumped into a person.

"Urgh," said the one I bumped into while rubbing his chest. It was the genius setter!

I quickly stood up and said "Gomenasai" as I bowed.

"It's okay," he said and helped me up.

"Kanae-san?" The genius setter said, I looked at him.

"Yes I'm Kanae, wait how do you know my name?" I quickly realized I haven't told him my name yet.

"You went to Kitagawa First right?" He said

"Huh...? How do you know that too?" I said

"Are you some type of psychic that looks into my memory?" I exclaimed shocked

"What? no!" He quickly said

"Then how do you know my name and my middle school?"

"EI-CHAN~! DON'T COME CLOSE TO TOBIO-CHAN!" said Oikawa, I looked to where he was and Oikawa was running my way already.

I quickly ran to Shi-chan and hid behind her.

"Shi-chann! Oikawa is being a jerk!" I told her

"Fuck off Oikawa," Shi-chan said and Oikawa immediately left.

What the? I thought Oikawa was a stubborn person?

Nope. Spoke too soon. Oikawa came back.

"Let's go to the Seijoh side of the court. Let's not stay here." He said and dragged both of us.

"Hey! hey! Stop pulling my arm! It's going to fall off!" Said Shi-chan.

Oikawa didn't let her go until we got to the Seijoh side.

Shi-chan rolled her eyes and sat angrily on one of the benches. I just followed Oikawa.

"Hey, how do you know that genius setter?" I asked him

"He is just another kouhai, that I know Ei-chan," He said matter-of-factly as he fixed some stuff

I just rolled my eyes and went to find the genius setter again.
