Shokugeki No Soma (Y/N) (L/N)'s background:

(Y/N) (L/N)'s parents were underground chefs. Her deceased parents were the leader of the Noirs. At the age of 3, (Y/N) (L/N)'s parents were killed by the yakuzas. 

Not knowing much about this, (Y/N) (L/N) was trained and grew up as a member of the Les Cuisiniers Noirs; she then earned the title Queen of the Noir.

At the age of 10, (Y/N) (L/N) had traveled abroad to learn more about the world outside the underworld.

The young girl was passing by a restaurant and stopped when she heard someone yelling. "You dare make me eat this rubbish?"

She heard people apologizing so she had decided to step in. "Uhm..." they all looked at her confused.

"Who is that?" / "F-Forgive us Nakiri-sama, we do not know who she is either." / "Hey you, get out." 

(Y/N) stared at them before giving them a pitiful look.

"You can't even satisfy your costumer's tastebuds. So this is how the outside world is, how pathetic." she replied before turning around.

"H-How dare you insult us infront of Nakiri-sama you brat!" a staff yelled at her and was about to slap her but (Y/N) glared in return, making the staffs shiver.

"If I serve this old lady a more-"

"O-Old lady?" Mana exclaimed while pointing at herself.

"Yeah, you. If I serve a more better dish than them, you'll give the ownership of this restaurant to me." (Y/N) replied while her eyes started wandering around.

Everyone gasped, "You think you can satisfy my God Tongue?" Mana scoffed, not believing what the little girl was blurting out.

"Why not? So are you in or not? This restaurant has a good spot but doesn't even serve the costumers right. Lame." (Y/N) snickered. "Wait..." the young girl stopped upon realizing something.

"The God Tongue? How lovely meeting you here." (Y/N) said smirking at Mana.

'As if she can satisfy the God Tongue!' the staffs said as their owner wrote a contract.

Fortunately, even without tasting it; Mana had already known that it'll taste great. And she was right, it tasted other wordly. She had finally found the dish she was looking for.

But, because she was the owner of the God Tongue; she could taste that it was lacking something. Upon learning (Y/N)'s situation, Mana took her in.

(Y/N) had killed two birds in one stone, she became the owner of the famous restaurant and became the personal chef of the God Tongue.

She then was known as the Goddess of Gourmet Dining. (Y/N) (L/N) met a boy named Asahi and his teacher Saiba Joichiro; whom she wanted to meet for a long time.

(Y/N) never won against Saiba Joichiro, which fueled her even more to learn cooking. At her age 13, Joichiro's wife died forcing him to return to Japan; leaving (Y/N) and Asahi behind.

Asahi asked (Y/N) to let him join the D'Lockes which she gladly accepted. She also invited him to be a part of the Les Cuisiniers Noirs; by that time, Mana Nakiri has asked (Y/N) (L/N) to become a WGO examiner.

(Y/N) (L/N) left half of her authority as a leader of the Noirs to Asahi before accepting Mana's invitation. (Y/N) (L/N) and Asahi had been living together ever since.
