Chapter 30: Brick French Toast

After getting off the elevator, you finally arrive. You strode the grande-like hallway and walked up to the number 420. Kojiro tossed his shoulder bag to you which you quickly caught.

"Ma'am, may I say that your son's not quite the gentleman." you said, obviously mocking him indirectly. Kojiro's mom let out a giggle, enjoying how you always find a chance to tease Kojiro.

 

"Save them for later, they might be useful." Kojiro replied as he swipes his keycard, a beeping then clicking sounds were heard before Kojiro swings the door open. "After you." he says pertaining to his mother.

Kojiro's mom enters, you grinned widely and was about to enter then apartment but Kojiro entered too. And now, both were stuck by the doorway.

 

"Move your fat ass, dunce." Kojiro said as an irk mark popped on his head.

"Nah-uh. You move your narcissistic ass outta the way." you retorted as a smirk gracefully formed on your lips.

 

"Why you-" Kojiro stopped when his mom cleared her throat.

He clicked his tongue and moved back causing you to fit and peacefully entered his apartment. You smiled thankfully at his mom and looked back at him smirking victoriously.

When you turned your back from him, his mom initiated a conversation. Kojiro on the other hand, couldn't fight the smile that he'd been hiding as he locks the door. Little did he know that you had caught him while you were glancing sideways.

As much as you both like for his mom to stay behind, she had to go and take good care of her house. You insisted that you both send her off but she said that it's fine and would like to take the taxi. Before she left, she whispered something to Kojiro that made him smile.

You wanted to ask him what his mom said, but didn't mind it anyways; thinking it might've something to do with their family matters. Kojiro kept telling you to leave but never drove you out, so you assumed that he was being a tsundere again. And now, you were in his sofa; laying on your stomach while watching Netflix on his TV.

 

"Fat ass." Kojiro called out to you.

You gasped dramatically upon hearing the new nickname. "I thought I was your dunce? Well, nice nickname atleast I got buns hun." you grinned while wiggling your eyebrows.

Shinomiya grinned cheekily and shook his head before taking the remote from you and turning the TV off. "You're shameless."

 

"Only for you." you replied sitting right up.
