Chapter 33: Dad's visitors

"Anne, I'm finally finished. Here, divide them between Histoire and Charme." you said giving half of the invitations to Anne.

"Oh, alright. Arigatou (Y/N)-san." Anne said before exiting the room.

You noticed Mana, now sleeping on her mattress. You walked towards her and placed the blanket on her. "Your daughter's not the same as before. She'd be protected and if she gets swallowed by the storm, her friends would dive right in to save her." you mumbled before saying goodbye.

'I would be reassured if you're the one who'd protect my daughter (Y/N). You saved me, it's not impossible for you to save her too. I'd pray that your paths may cross.' Mana thought opening her eyes as she stared at the left-over apple pie on the table.

'Please... Save my daughter... (L/N) (Y/N).'

"Hmm~" you hummed to yourself as you looked at the invitations in your hand. "Satte~" You took your phone out from your pocket and Ryota popped up.

"Ohayou (Y/N)-cchi! I received a text from Kazu-cchi that you should meet him! *Iki masyou! {Let's go!}" Ryota cheered making you giggle.

/Meanwhile @Saito's mansion;

"Sir your visitors are waiting for you in the kitchen." one of the butlers informed Kazu.

"Thank you. I'll meet them soon, for now give them every ingredient they'll ask for." Kazu replied, the butler nodded and excused himself as Kazu continued typing a reply for you. "And send..." he said as he pressed the send button. Kazu stood up and stretched for a while before walking out his office.

He went straight to the kitchen and saw Dojima Gin and Yukihira Joichiro. "Kaz!" / "Kazu." both greeted as they saw him.

"Hey! The usual? Talking about it through cooking?" Kazu asked as the two grinned. "Let's get cooking then!"

"Welcome (L/N)-sama... Saito-sama is in the dining area." the family butler greeted you as he bowed.

You nodded your head and went straight to the kitchen. Of course, you didn't get lost because Ryota was there to guide you. You removed your mask and placed it on your bag.

 You were getting closer to the door when you heard two familiar voices excluding Kazu's. "That Saiba Asahi... is planning something and will surely invade Totsuki."

 

"Asahi huh... Geez that kid." another voice said. You quietly peeked your head as you saw them placing dishes on the table.

"Oh, (Y/N)!" Kazu called out as he ushered you to enter the kitchen. You then waved at them as soon as Gin and Joichiro saw you, they were surprised.
