Chapter 28: Kuga Terunori - Wontons

I tilted my head and saw a certain spiky two-toned haired guy. It was Kuga-senpai!

"Yo, yo, yo! I was right, I had a hunch that something good will happen today. Hi (Y/N)-chin, how's university life?" Kuga-senpai beamed while staring at me.

 

"Kuga-senpai!" I replied but was cut off when he frowned.

 

"Senpai? Kuga?" he asked sadly that made me confused for a second. "You usually call me Teru or Nori." he added.

I bit my lip trying hard not to smile, he looks like an abandoned chick on the rain. Cute. "Gomen, Teru-kun. How have you been? Wait- Are you here alone?"

 

"Yes, I'm here alone. I finally got to relax after going from a tiring mission." Teru said before sighing, holding both my hands and biting on my ikayaki.

 

"I have spare! Do you want me to give it to you?" I asked as he backed away and quickly gulping the ikayaki down.

 

'Did he even chew it?' Ryota asked and I could imagine him grimacing.

 

"No need, oh! I'm glad we bumped into each other. We have some really really long talk to do!" he added dragging me to who knows where.

While on our way, we conversed about different things. Well, mostly about him ranting on why being a 3rd year sucks which made me laugh. "Oh and... (Y/N)-chin?"

 

"Yeah?" I replied as we casually walked beside each other. "But hey, you're still short." I added.

 

"Hey!" Kuga yelled while his face was scrunched up making me laugh.

Much to my dismay, Kuga didn't talk again as we continued to walk in silence. We arrived at a shop and were greeted by the staffs, they mostly focused their attention on Kuga. Seems like he was a regular here. Me on the other hand, was thankful that they didn't know I was a WGO examiner and the owner of the D'Lockes. 

"Alright, alright! Pack it up, 1 and 2, 1 and 2." Kuga said while clapping his hands. I sweat-dropped when Kuga cheerfully pulled me towards a small dining hall.
