Chapter 17: Let the Cooking Begin.

"Are you sure you're okay now?" you asked Erina while poking her sides.

"Y-Yes! Don't you dare tell anyone about this event (Y/N)-chan." Erina said glaring at you while blushing.

"You know well that you aren't intimidating, especially since a blush is spread across your face." you replied pinching her cheek before running away.

"(Y-Y/N)-chan!" Erina yelled while running behind you. But then she stopped in front of a door, and you on the other hand also stopped as you took your phone out.

"I will be the one to take Nakiri Erina as my wife." Asahi said.

"Nakiri (and her tongue) are mine." Soma replied. 

(That sounds wrong ＼（〇_ｏ）／ but don't think of anything else. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Subject: (Y/N)-sama

Message: I have prepared the banquet for tonight.

I'm very sorry for the late invitation, Asahi-sama told me to inform you 7 hours before the banquet.

You sighed and noticed that Erina was on the floor; she had fainted and you were about to approach her but Ryota froze your body.

'Mask. Wear your mask.' Ryota said.

'Why should I?' you communicated to him through your thoughts.

'You can't meet Soma-cchi and Megumi-cchi if you're not going to wear your mask (Y/N)-cchi.' Ryota replied before unfreezing you.

You groaned before taking the white mask out of your bag. You saw that Asahi was about to pick Erina up, but you dashed to pick her instead.

"Oh..." Asahi said and stole a glance to Megumi and Soma who were staring at you shocked.

"The Queen of the Noirs..." they both mumbled.

"How do you do?" you greeted smiling widely behind your mask.

"Oh! Queen nice to meet you here!" Soma said smugly.

"S-S-Soma-kun... She's the Queen of the Noirs... The 'Queen'!" Megumi replied tugging Soma's shirt.

"Hmm? You both seem to know about the Queen of the Noirs?" Asahi asked surprised.

Soma laughed, "Well yeah... Kinda, we met some Noirs that told us the Queen of the Noirs wears a mask." Soma replied making Asahi nod.

"But do you know there are many shops that sells masks?" Asahi replied; obviously trying to deny the accusation.

"T-The noirs said that the Queen of the Noirs is intimidating." Megumi replied shaking.

"Am I intimidating?" you asked them as they both shook their head. "My name's... Err- Yama Yoru. I'm a university student and studies nearby." you replied.

/A-N: Yama from 'Yama'guchi and since, you're the ruler of the midnight chef; Yoru meaning 'night'.

"Oh! The name's Yukihira Soma and this is Tadokoro." Soma said looking at Megumi before stretching his hand out to you.

"Wait..." you replied walking past him and placing Erina down on the nearby empty counter.

You walked back and held his hand. "Pleased to meet you, I hope Suzuki's not causing you any trouble." you greeted shaking Soma's hand.

"O-Oh, n-no not at all." Megumi replied.

"Yoru!!" Asahi childishly yelled making you chuckle while Soma was frozen, staring at his hand that you just held.

"You're not the Queen of the Noirs, right?" Soma asked.

"Ara? Are you looking for her? Do you want me to give you a hint about her?" you asked nudging Soma's side.

"Really? You're gon' help me? That's great!" Soma beamed and leaned forward.

"All I know is, her last name is (L/N) and she's a WGO Examiner." you replied making Soma shocked.

"Maybe Anne-san knows her!" Soma replied. "Thanks Yama-senpai!" You grinned even though they can't see your face.

"Mi amor, I'm sorry for not meeting you outside." Asahi said cutting your conversation with Soma and Megumi.

"M-Mi amor?" Megumi asked Asahi who smiled.

"Yeah it means my love. (Y-... Yoru and I live together." Asahi beamed hugging you in front of Soma and Megumi. Megumi and you blushed at the same time.

Soma laughed, "Nice going Sensei! So... You aren't going to take Nakiri as your wife then?" Soma asked.

"Hmm~ are you two perhaps... Having a Shokugeki right now?" you asked breaking free from Asahi's hug.

"Yeah Senpai, we were about to have a duel." Soma said while unbuttoning his uniform.

"Hoh~ May I join too? I also want to test the 1st seat of the Elite Ten. One of the Generation of Prodigies." you replied grinning making both Soma and Asahi grin.

"T-Two on one?" Megumi asked so you shook your head while rummaging through the kitchen.

"We 3 will compete, and Tadakoro-san... you'll be the judge." Asahi told Megumi who looked at him surprised. You looked at Soma who quickly ran out.

"Whaa? M-Me?" Megumi asked while placing an ice bag on Erina's forehead.

"With the 10th seat as judge, there'll be nothing to worry about. Yoru and I are countin' on ya!" Asahi replied making you grin.

"W-Wait but! Nakiri-san is unconcious and-" Megumi's words were cut off when Soma entered the room.

He was carrying his knife case and apron. "I brought my apron and knife! Let's go!" he yelled.

"Yoru what will be the theme for today?" Asahi asked while tying your apron as you looked at the products inside the fridge.

"Let's see..." you mumbled and saw a few vegetables here and few chicken there. "The theme for this battle will be things in this refrigerator." you said.

"A-Alright... L-Let the cooking begin." Megumi replied nervously as you started to prepare.
