6:07pm

Niall

Beep. Beep. Beep

The phone went to voicemail once again. Niall couldn't get a hold of Harry. 'Where was he?' Niall thought. It was already past six o'clock and Harry said that him and Lou would be there by six. Where are they?

"Excuse me sir, but we can only hold the table for a little while longer. Do you know where the guests are?" A host from the restaurant came out to speak to Niall, as they had special reservations for Louis and Harry.

"No sorry. I don't know where they are. I'll tell them the dinners off. Can I get the ring back please?" Niall had given the ring to them in order to start preparing that special meal, but since they hadn't shown up, he assumed Harry called it off.

"Here you go sir. Sorry about your friends." The host left and Niall was waiting just outside the restaurant, having little hope they were coming.

He turned and looked at the restaurant and started to walk away, until he stopped. On the news station, what he thought was Harry's SUV on the screen. He burst inside.

"Can you turn that up please?"

"As we continue tonight, a horrific crash just outside downtown London occured about 40 minutes ago. Two men that were inside the vehicle were recently taken to the local hospital for emergency treatment. We have no word on their identities or their conditions. Stay tuned for updates." As the news station finished their segment, Niall was already out the door. He phoned Liam as he got in his car and immediately drove to the hospital. 'Please tell me their okay.'

5:26pm

Harry

Harry and Louis were both rushed into the local hospital for immediate emergency treatment. They were taken separate ways into two different rooms, directly next to each other.

Harry immediately had a heart monitor and other things hooked up to him, including an IV. Harry hated needles, but he was unconscious and didn't have a choice. He was holding steady, but the pain in his side was still a massive concern. That's when he came to.

"Sir!"

Harry creaked his eyes open and saw many doctors and nurses trying to help him, but he started to push back, begging for them to help Louis.

"Just leave me go help him!"

"Sir please, you need to stay calm. We are trying to help you. Can you tell me your name?"

"Please! Go help Louis! I'll be fine. He has a head injury and was seizing please go help him!" Harry pleaded with the doctor with tears in his eyes. He continued to push the doctors away, which caused his side to ache really badly, but he didn't care. He wanted to make sure Louis was okay so he continued to beg. "Please"

"They are helping your friend too. And no you aren't fine. You need surgery, but we need to find out information first. Can you help us?"

Harry reluctantly nodded and gave them brief information before he was being wheeled through the walls of the hospital. They passed Louis' room and he was being shocked and his chest was being pumped. Harry's eye widened and time seemed to slow as he pleaded with the doctor.

"What wrong with him!" Harry thrashed around, desperate to get to him, even if it killed him. "GO HELP HIM PLEASE!"

The doctors and nurses held him back desperately trying to keep him stable. Nothing seemed to be working. A nurse came over and injected something into directly into his arm. Harry felt a cold sensation all throughout his body.

"Please..." and before he knew it, everything faded to black.

5:23pm

Louis

Louis was still unconscious, seizing two more times on the way to the hospital. He was barely breathing and had almost no pulse. He had a major concussion, and was bleeding out from a head lack. His ankle and knee had been crushed. He had multiple scratches and bruises all over his body, and he was not very stable.

Doctors immediately checked his heart, which was not good. He had a collapsed lung, which just made his condition worse. They had to insert a tube into his chest to reinflate his lung. Once they thought he was stable, he started to decline. Rapidly his heart rate and blood pressure dropped, causing him to eventually flatline.

A nurse began CPR and other nurses grabbed the code cart, which was used when a patient's heart stopped. He was connected to more things and pads were placed on his chest. A tube was shoved down his throat to help him breath as doctors shouted out orders as they shocked him once, twice, nothing. They continued CPR and gave him a round of adrenaline, to hopefully kickstart his heart. As they continued their cycle, Harry was wheeled by, tearing up as his best friend was lying there on the table with no heart rate and there was nothing he could do.

Eventually after multiple rounds of CPR, adrenaline, and shocking his heart, he came back, with a stable rhythm. Still unconscious, he was taken up to CT to do a full body scan.

Results came back instantly and it was bad. He needed emergency brain surgery, as the crash resulted in a brain bleed. And just like Harry, he was wheeled into the operating room, with a small chance of survival.
