Wednesday 11:22am

"Louis!" Harry called from downstairs up to their bedroom, keys in his hand. "It's time to go!"

"I'm coming!" Louis quickly put his brace on, and made his way downstairs, greeted by Harry, who grabbed his hand. "Hi darling."

"No time for that." He pulled away as they kissed. "We are going to be late and it's the first time with a new therapist. Let's make a good impression okay?"

"Fine. Let's go then." They both made their way to the car, Harry on the drivers side. Louis had his first physical therapy appointment with a new therapist. This one was to get him walking better and eventually to the point of running so he can play football again.

They began the drive through town. They both sat in silence, listening to the radio, humming along at certain points.

They pulled into the parking lot and in front of the new building. It was huge with many glass windows and a big sign with the company's name on it. There were many cars in the parking lot and people going in and out of the building.

"I'll pick you up at 1, okay?" Louis nodded and gave Harry a kiss on the cheek before he made his way out of the car and into the building. He walked through the waiting room to the reception desk.

"Can I help you?" The lady said, opening the glass window.

"I'm here for my first physical therapy appointment. I was referred here by Mitch, the physical therapist at the hospital."

"Name and date of birth please?"

"Louis Tomlinson and December 24th, 1991." The lady typed as he spoke, soon pulling a clipboard out with a bunch of forms on it.

"Okay, so just fill out these papers and take them with you. The therapist will call you in a few minutes." She smiled and handed him the clipboard and a pen, closing the glass window as Louis left the desk.

Louis sat down in a nearby chair, filling out the forms. As soon as he signed the last one, a lady called his name.

"Louis Tomlinson?"

"That's me." Louis got up and followed the lady to a private room, another man coming in right behind her.

"My name is Elise and I'm a physical therapy student at a nearby university. I'm going to be doing your initial exam." He looked towards the man, who nodded as he began. "Oh and this is Luke, your physical therapist."

"Hi! Nice to meet you both." Elise began her exam, measuring how far Louis could bend his knee, his mobility and multiple other things. "So how long do I have to do physical therapy?"

"So it depends on how fast you can recover and build strength. I would say at a least a couple of months based on your injury, but Mitch told me that you did very well in the hospital, so I am hopeful." Luke wrote something down as Elise finished up.

"So your initial exam shows that you definitely need improving but that is expected based on your injury." Elise put the brace back on, leaving the room.

"She is very nice. And she's only in university?" Louis asked, adjusting his trousers and brace.

"Yes she is a senior at the nearby university and she is doing exceptionally well. I've actually offered her a position here once she's finished school." Luke sat down on the chair and began to discuss his plan. "So obviously you have been walking quite well, but you are still wearing the brace, so we will start by helping you walk without it and building up strength. Once your strength is built, we can start doing some running and eventually build up your endurance. There will be exercises that you must do at home everyday to keep the plan going along. We will start with doing more of a baseline exam to see where you are."

Luke led him to an open room with lots of different kinds of equipment and a few other people and therapists. They did a series of exercises to see how far he could push Louis before it was over the edge. Louis was quite sore after, but soon he texted Harry.

"Thanks Luke and I'll see you next week?"

"Yup sounds good. Have good night Louis." And with that Luke walked to the back, leaving Louis in the waiting room. He grabbed his stuff and saw Harry's text saying that he was in the front.

"How did it go?" Harry said once Louis opened the passenger door.

"It went well. The guy is very nice. I am a little sore though."

"Want to just go home and chill out the rest of the day?"

"Yes please."

Again the ride was silent, only the music from the radio playing. That is until Harry said something.

"So I know we kind of talked about the wedding briefly, but should we talk about it more? Since we have time?" Harry parked the car in the driveway, getting out and opening the door for Louis like the gentlemen he is. "We don't have to though."

"No, I want to." They made their way through their front door and placed their stuff down. Then they went to the living room, turning on their favorite show at a quiet volume before continuing their conversation.

"So we just want a small wedding right?" Harry said.

"Yes. I think just close family and friends. And then maybe a few people who helped us at the hospital?"

"Oh yeah I like that. What about when?"

"I don't know. Not anytime soon, but maybe like a year from now? I want to be fully healed for the wedding."

"That's fine. I'm okay with that. We don't need to discuss all the details, but what about after?

"What do you mean after?"

"Like after we get married? Do you think we will come out?" Harry spoke softly, as before this topic caused an argument.

"I mean if you want to." Louis bit his lip, unsure of how he felt. "I don't really know how I feel to be honest. Like yeah sharing our relationship with the world would be great, but I've thought about what you said before. I kind of like it in secret. At least until we get settled. We still have to decide if we are staying in London, or do you want to move to LA? Are we both going to do music or maybe change pace and do something else? I think we just need to take time and settle in and then decide. Maybe not for a few years, to answer your question."

"Yeah honestly with the whole accident, it's not like we can't be in public together. And we don't know what's going to happen in the next few years, so I think we do need time to think. But I definitely want to put out a new album, and I'm sure you do too."

"I do." Louis took his brace off and moved closer to Harry, putting his arms around his waist. "Let's just get me through my recovery, then the wedding, then music, and then we will figure everything else out as we go along. Sounds good?"

Harry snuggled closer, putting his head in Louis' chest, feeling his heartbeat pick up pace.

"I love you."

"I'll take that as a yes then. And I love you too"

The End...

Just kidding, a 2 part epilogue is up next about what happens over the next two years. Not sure if there will be actual conversation or just a story.

Be prepared for big time jumps

Also the wedding is talked about, but there is no actual wedding scene that was written. It is talked about in massive detail, so I hope you enjoy it.

Oh yeah and I included Sarah and Mitch, wasn't going to leave you hanging about them either.
