Chapter 23

Sunday 11:12am

The morning had gone just like the previous one, yet Harry and Louis were actually talking this time. Louis wanted to go out with Harry, but Harry refused as Fizzy was coming to visit and she said she wanted some alone time with Louis.

"I'm just going out with Liam and Niall for a little while. I'll be back okay?" Harry said as he finished up his breakfast.

"But why can't I come? Fizzy can visit some other time. Please?" Louis pleaded, but Harry just shook his head.

"No Lou. I'm sorry but I already told Fizzy that you were available today, so she is already on her way. I won't be long. Promise" He gave Louis a kiss who was reluctant to give it back, but did it anyway.

"Fine." He was annoyed, but let him go. "Just be careful"

"I will. Bye!" Harry made his way out the door and Louis was left alone in the kitchen, waiting for Fizzy to arrive. He hasn't really been out of the house, but now he was itching to get out. And right on time, Fizzy arrived.

"Hi Louis!" Fizzy came and gave Louis a big hug, which Louis enjoyed.

"Hey Fizz." Louis motioned toward the living room and had them sit down on the couch. "How's it going?"

They talked for a while, Louis mostly listening as Fizzy talked about work and her house and a possible new guy.

"That's great Fizz. I'm glad you're happy." Louis sighed and just stared at the floor.

"Okay so enough about me. What about you? Anything new?"

"Not really. I mean I can walk without my crutches now, just have to wear the brace which is fine. Starting a new physical therapist next week, Harry's acting weird, and I haven't been out of the house in like 3 weeks." He said the last two kind of fast, hoping Fizzy wouldn't register what he said, but unfortunately she did.

"What do you mean Harry is acting weird? He's the one that invited me here." Fizzy was confused. "He isn't here?"

"No he went out with Niall and Liam, and he refused to let me come. I've haven't wanted to leave the house, but now that I do, he refuses to let me. I don't know, it's kind of weird."

"What if he is planning something? Maybe to make up for what happened on your anniversary?"

"What? Do you know something?" Louis pressed, thinking Harry told her to come because he was actually doing something.

"No! Well, sort of." Fizzy stopped, not wanting to say too much. "Okay, so Harry told me to come today because he needed to discuss some things with Niall and Liam without you knowing, but I swear that's all he told me. I didn't ask, since I can't keep secrets that well." She laughed.

"Okay, so basically don't ask Harry because I'm not supposed to know. Well thanks for telling me anyway."

"Of course, but yeah please don't tell him that I told you anything."

"I won't, I promise."

They finished their long talk and then they watched a movie as they waited for Harry to return.

12:02pm

Harry

Harry sat down in the small cafe, as he waited for Niall and Liam. They were coming separately, so it might be a little while. He watched as a few fans gathered around outside, so Harry assumed one of them was here. Then he saw Niall.

"Hey Harry!" They hugged, then sat down. "So you're sure you're ready for this?"

"Yes I'm sure, so stop asking. You've asked me plenty of times over text. Let's just wait for Liam so I don't have to explain the plan twice."

They sat, drinking their coffee as Liam walked in, followed by a bodyguard, who he then told to wait outside.

"Hey guys!"

"Hey Liam!" Harry hugged him as well, then sat down once again. "Okay, so let's just get to it."

Liam and Niall nodded, so Harry continued.

"So I'm doing it at the place we had our first date, the park downtown. We usually go to the backwoods, so we can set up back there." Harry looked down at his phone, as he had written out physical plans to make sure everything was perfect. "So Liam you are going to pick up Louis around five. You are going to bring him to dinner, then I'll text you when we are ready for him. Then I'll get ready and Niall you can meet me at the park. We will set up while they eat. Okay?"

"What do I tell him if he asks why we are going to dinner? It's kind of weird, don't you think?" Liam was concerned.

"Not really. You can have dinner with your best mate, Liam. It's fine. And if he asks, just tell him you wanted to get him out of the house."

"Okay that's fine." Liam nodded.

"So Niall, when Louis gets there, you should greet him at the park entrance and give him the piece of paper with the directions on it. Along the path, there will be photos and memories of us from the past years and from One Direction. I'll be waiting at the end." Harry smiled just thinking about it.

"Harry it's going to be great, trust me. He'll love it." Liam grabbed his shoulder, as a way to calm him, as Harry picked his head up.

"Do you guys want to see the ring?" Harry took out the box that contained the ring. Niall and Liam both nodded excitedly.

The ring was silver, and quite small in order to fit Louis' finger. It had the engraving of Monday's date, so that Louis wouldn't forget the date they got engaged. Also there was an engraving of 'Sweet Creature' which was the first song that Harry wrote about Louis.

"Harry that's beautiful!" Niall started to tear up.

"Oh stop Niall, it's just a ring. You can cry when we get engaged." He put the ring away. "Oh yea, would one of you be able to film it? I want to be able to watch it back."

"Yea of course. You'll do great H, don't worry about it." That made Harry smile.

"Okay, I've got to go. I told Louis I wouldn't be gone very long, so I should get back. I'll see you guys tomorrow. Thanks so much for your help." They all stood up, hugging once again.

"Of course Harry. Anything for you guys! See you tomorrow!" Niall said as Harry made his way out the door.

Harry made his way home and him and Louis spent the rest of the day together, just reminiscing. Tomorrow was the big day.
