hyenagal is hosting a D&D inspired game, so here is a character that I created for a local campaign but then decided not to use so it could fit in more smoothly. So now I'm using them for this!
First off, here is their miniature that I painted:
Back View:
Kind of messy but I skill like it!
The only homebrew portion about this character is that she is a werewolf. Memories don't transfer to her werewolf form and what her wolf form does isn't remembered by Margaret. The transformation only takes place if she's awake/outside during a gibbous/full moon.

Backstory: Margaret's father is a werewolf and passed the curse of lycanthropy onto Margaret, their only child. Being a small child, it didn't take long for her parents to realize what she inherited. The first transformation was terrifying and Margaret almost injured/killed her mother. There have been no incidents after that one, but her parents sent her to a monastery at 13, not telling them about her curse but hoping that through mastery of her mind and body will keep her beast form inside. The monks there accepted Margaret, and from then on they trained her about their ways (both Way of the Open Hand and Way of the Four Elements). This continued until adulthood, where she was told to leave the Monastery for undisclosed reasons. She has now been thrown out into the world.
Monastery Information: The monastery Margaret lived in was in the middle of the desert. It's made out of stone and is recognizable from a far distance, since it's tall and narrow, which is easy to spot against the barren landscape. Their monastic icon is a cobra, representing intimidation and quick, deadly attacks.
Their symbol:
This symbol depicts a cobra hood designed with intense, staring eyes. It's tattooed onto the back of every member's dominant hand. Members use this hand to perform the signature greeting/warcry: Holding the hand up, tattoo facing the other person, and spreading the fingers apart. They will then either close the fingers and lower their hand or keep the hand raised and hiss. If they do the former, you will likely have a diplomatic conversation. But if they do the latter, be prepared to die. This symbol is also on the back of the gray robes that show your membership. On the garment, the snake's pupils on Margaret's robes are purple (same as trim), which signifies her level of training (like a ninja belt system). Margaret's master was kind and taught her to pursue the cause of peace.
Theme Song: "Sweet Emotion" by Aerosmith
Battle Theme: "PINK FLOYD - ANOTHER BRICK IN THE WALL instrumental" original song by Pink Floyd, instrumental done by Capitero
Organizations: Might loosely be in a pack called "Livid Stalkers" (but probably not unless plot development); Tower of the Troubled (monastery)
Weapon of Choice: Quarterstaff, Bite (wolf-does 1d8+STR modifier)
That should be it! Sorry if this was a bit chaotic to read (and if you can't decipher my handwriting) but other than that I hope you like it! Now to go to bed haha.
Ta-ta for now!
