All Alone

I sat down on the bench behind the school. My usual lunch spot. Since Ail stormed off well I hadn't seen her.

I wasn't really under the category of good friends and hey do nit judge or blame me because it is not my fault. I grew nonchalant after all my ideas where fallen on deaf ears, after years of verbal abuse and trauma. The best way to deal with all that was easy. Just IGNORE.

You know what they say 'Ignorance is bliss' so I rather ignore than care because the more I cared the more I had chances of getting hurt.

My hair was starting to frustrate me so I think it'll be better to braid it. Speaking of braid I needed a job. The house was starting to get lonely and dedicating my entire life to finding dad wasn't really as easy as it seemed.

I mean I'm in senior year and I don't know what I want to be, nearly all my life wasted on finding dad. What it he didn't want to find me, or look at me or what would be my fate after rejection or being accepted. I don't even know where I'm heading after-

"Stop thinking about your sad life "Marissa dragged my earphones out of my ear.

"What do you want?' I sluggishly turned to her" you know, when people say goodbye it means I never plan on seeing you ever again. Right?"

"I'm not here for a fight, Jane"

"I just came to remind you that I'm watching you and when I attack. You'll least expect it" She turned her heels

"Wait!" I stopped her "That's it, that's all you wanted to say, twenty seconds of my life brutally wasted. I mean I know you had nothing to do but seriously?"

She smiled and walked off

I need a job. An easy job, the kind that includes not working under pressure, and zero stress and...............

Emily...

Wait who is Emily, the name's familiar. I just can't remember where I got i.t.............

Oh the one from the coffee shop, the very old dirty coffee shop.

Oh well at least I'm not as jobless as I presumed to be.

The very annoying bell chimed. Like seriously are they paying you?

"So I need a job ASAP, just in case you've forgotten me I'm that girl that came here like a real long time anywho am I hired or not"

Emily just looked up from whatever book she was reading with thus very perplexed look on her face like she was trying to get in the info.

"Sure you're hired" she shrugged.

Whoa...that is way too easy, I mean if you need a job call me? I'm a pro.

"Don't just expect to get any salary or allowance any time soon, well except the tables and chairs would love to pay for whatever service you offer them"

Right! This was the infamous restaurant or whatever it was. Very dull, dark and odd. If ail just stepped in here she'd make it all pink rainbows and unicorns.

"Please excuse me?"

I went to a corner and called ail. She immediately picked.

"Look Jane I'm actually very sorry for just getting angry like that for no reason" Right that happened I totally forgot

"Actually-"

"No let me speak, I guess the pressure was all on me and I seriously needed to get that post but now"

"So I-"

"Nope let me finish my apology!"

There was only one thing I could do.

I dropped my phone on the nearby table and waited till I didn't hear her cries and pleas then picked it and asked.

"Ya sure about the whole apology thing, I forgive you, you forgive me" I replied half-heartedly "Now moving on I need you here ASAP"

"Sure!"

I turned back to Emily

"I got this under control"

"I think we need beige walls here since the theme is all dull and we need to change the coffee maker , then wallpapers and new cups, who's taking notes anyone "Ail ranted

"Wait were meant to take notes?"

"Yes Jane. You or Emily should be taking notes."

"You just came in here like 4 minutes ago"

"I'm taking notes!" Emily smiled and Aileen smiled back.

I just frowned at this, was this some sort of language.

"I'll have a meeting with your mom tomorrow alongside with Jane then Richie over here would buy the equipment, Hey I can work here as the manager or something then both of you would be my-"

"Aileen, Breathe,"

"Is she always this hype?"

"You haven't seen nothing"

She really hadn't

I actually rushed this chapter because I owe y'all a lot.

Now I know you guys we be all like why would Aileen just forgive Jane like that.

Well it's because of her personality she really hated keeping malice it mad her feel guilty at times so o... Yeah that's pretty much everything.

What do you think about this Chapter?

And Emily it took time to actually decide if she would appear more than once you know£Authour's conflict.

I'm still working on her though, I'd love your opinions on how you imagine her and then I'll add it to her characterisation.
