Love adventure

Lies.

I haven't seen Jack since that day. I hadn't had contact with him at all and its been two weeks. I don't know how I felt. I was upset but I was okay with it. We were going back to school in a week and I could see him there. I didn't want to over think everything because that always led to negative things.

It was Saturday and I was getting ready to go to the movies with Sussy and some of our other friends. It was 8pm and I was waiting for her to pick me up.

I tried to look nice for once. I wore my high waisted shorts with black tights under. A black crop top and a red flannel. I usually didn't dress like this but I didn't want to look like a bum next to my friends.

I get a text from Sussy, I'm outside hurry!

I rush out and get in her car.
"Take your time Rox!" Sussy said sarcastically and I roll my eyes.

When we got there we went straight to the line since it was long already.
"Well I guess today's a packed day here" Sussy said.
"Ugh I know. I didn't want a lot of people to be here. Makes me anxious."

We all got our tickets and went to buy popcorn when Sussy points me to look at the arcade section of the movie theater and I freeze when I see Jack and Alisa holding each other watching Sammy play a game.
"Omg Rox, I thought you said they broke up?!" She asked demanding to know.
"I thought so too...." I said still looking at them. I was hurt. I was lied and played. I believed him with the bullshit he told me that day. I wasn't expecting to be his girlfriend but I expected the truth!
"Let's just go watch our movie. You know I never liked him so I don't really care. Alisa is stupid for being with an idiot like that anyway" I said in fake confidence.

Two hours later we walk out and it was awkward when I noticed Jack, Sammy and Alisa walking out too.
"Roxanne and Sussy wait up!" I hear from Sammy and I look at Sussy in desperation wanting to leave but we both know we can't
"Oh hey" me and Sussy both say.

They catch up to us just stand there awkwardly. I didn't know what to say or do. Jack looked at me blushing with a pity look. As if he felt bad for me.
"Want to come back to my house to drink and kick back?" Sammy asks us.
"Just us or 500 people? Like your other kickbacks?" I say in annoyance.

Sammy and Jack both laugh and I am suddenly disgusted by Jacks laugh. How could he act like nothings wrong, like our talk never happened.
"Just us. Let's go" Sammy pokes me and Sussy.

Sussy laughs trying to flirt and agrees. I was mad but whatever. I need to show Jack that it doesn't bother me. This was his mistake and I'm not going to be a part of it anymore.
