Bleachers

I got to homeroom pretty early and I see Amy and Sussy there already waiting for me. Of course Jack wasn't there yet. Probably one of those badass kids that show up late. Five minutes after the bell rings, Jack shows up. The teacher doesn't seem to care. She was always on her phone. He walked up to his chair and said "Hey girls. Noticed I'm the only guy in this group. Should be fun". He said as he winked at Amy. Oh my God. He was a jerk. He had a girlfriend and just winked at my friend. Okay I was jealous. Of that wink. Why didn't he wink at me? Amy looked at him and said "no not really. Don't wink at me again. I have a bf. Asshole"

He looked annoyed and went to his friends.

By now I knew I had to stop thinking of Jack. What a complete jerk. Talking to girls like that while dating someone.

My day dragged on and finally came our last class of the day. The teacher informed us that we had a senior rally during this class. So he let us go to the bleachers for the rally. I couldn't find Amy nor Sussy. I was screwed. I didn't want to be alone for the rally. Surrounded by kids I didn't know. I sat to the closest spot to me. I blanked out and started thinking about how rude Jack was this morning when I hear , "Hey red. Make room for me and Sam" Said jack. I moved in shock. What did he just call me? I didn't say a word. There was plenty of space but he decided to sit next to me. This was going to be an awkward hour. The principal went on about how this was our last year. How we must pass each class but have fun and make it an unforgettable year. I wanted to forget everything so far. I could hear Jack and his friend talk about girls near them. I just rolled my eyes and blanked out again. I hear cheering and it surprised me. I was the only one sitting. Then I feel jack grab my arm and say "Come on red. Get up. Cheer for the beautiful cheerleaders!"

Why was he calling me that? I had red hair but that's just plain stupid of a name. I stayed sitting down and just looked away. After that we all headed back to class to get our stuff and leave. I was stopped by Amy saying "Dude I saw that. Jack and Sammy sat next to you! There was room everywhere else. Why next to you? Your luck huh!? See ya tomorrow".

I was thinking the same. As I was walking to the front of the school I see the familiar friend Sammy come up to me and say "Hey"
"Oh um hey." I said softly. "Going to jacks kick back today?" He asked. "Um no I don't know him and I wasn't invited"
"Well I'm inviting you now. See you there"- He paused trying to guess my name. "Roxanne". I said. "Alright Roxanne see you there" He smiled as he walked away.

Was I really going to go? No I couldn't. I went home and wrote.
