That night I invited Jack in and introduced him to my parents. My dad wasn't fond of me bringing a guy in but he got use to it. My mom seemed to really like Jack because she couldn't stop telling me how amazing he was after he left.

Today was New Years eve and I was excited to go to the beach for the countdown with Jack and some of his friends.

Me and Jack didn't make anything official. We just hung out a lot.
I'll pick you up at 10 okay my little red?

Said jacks text and I smiled. He didn't call me babe or baby but I was okay with that. He had his own little nickname for me.

I was getting ready for the beach when my my mom comes in and sits on my bed.
"I'm so glad you met someone that cares for you honey. I just want you to be save tonight. Don't let him drink and drive. Just don't do anything stupid okay. Promise me that?"

I loved my mom for caring so much.
"I promise mom" I said as I leaned to hug her.

It was ten and I heard a knock. I instantly became so happy because I got to see my big tan boy.
"Hey princess" Jack said as he looked at me. I still blushed when he called me things. He was wearing his favorite red Volcom shirt with black jeans and vans. I couldn't help but admire how handsome he looked there smiling. I didn't say anything but just wrap my arms around him and stay there until he pulled away.
"No don't let go!" I said pushing my face against his chest.

Jack chuckled and held me tighter.
"Someone missed me?" Jack smirked.
"Not even a little" I said back. I let my mom know we were leaving and we headed to his car.
"Are you drinking tonight? Because I'm not. Gotta get you home safe" He asked as we drove to the beach which was 20 mins away.
"A little." I said as if asking if he would mind. But he just nodded and kept driving.

Throughout the drive I kept thinking if I should ask what we are. A couple or just close friends.
"Jack Gilksnky...can I ask you something?"
"Anything my dear" he smilied and I became comfortable to tell ask anything.
"What are we?" I said calmly.
"Yeah we never discussed that. I wasn't sure if you wanted a label but I love you and you're my only girl. I'm staying loyal to you. Does that answer your question?" He smiled again and I believed every word he spoke. I nodded and kissed his cheek. I then rested my head on the window and waited until we got to the beach.
