"W-who are you?" Steve pushed himself up and out of the bed covers, graping for his sword.

In a flash of purple specks the sword that was leaning against the bed side table was gone, and now in the monsters hand.

"Steve, I mean no harm."

Now curious, Steve asked,

"How do you know my name? And, why are you here in the middle of the night?"

"Ok, its a long story, just please, don't kill me, I mean no harm."

"I won't, just put the sword down until I'm certain your not a threat." Steve sighed.

"Ok fine," he said, resting it on the bed, "Well, my name is Bert, I was once a foul and terrifing monster raiding and burning villages, I lived in a place called The End, where a fearsome dragon keeps us hiden when we are Endlings, and sends us on raiding missions when we are old enough, but he is like our big daddy, are you listening Steve?" he suddenly said.
Steve's brow was drawn in thought as he was staring out the star laden sky,

"Yes yes, just thinking, go on."

"Ok, as I was on my fifth raiding trip, my two accomplises teleported into a big house, and suddenly set the house alight, gradually, it began to burn fierce, I was going to go to do the same thing to the opposite house when I heard a little voice shout,

"Help me! Sombody! My leg is stuck under lots of bricks! Somebody hellp!""

"Being the curious Enderman I was, I walked closer to the voice, and as I turned the corner, a little girl with her leg stuck under a pile of bricks. Panic shot into her eyes as she turned around and saw me, the monster, she started rappidly hitting the bricks with her fist, she cried and stared hopelessly at me.
I didn't know humanish so I simpily smiled. I teleported right next to her and picking up the bricks and moving them away from her.

"Thank you, Mr. Enderman?"" she said quizzically.

I nodded and watched the house burn. I held out my hand, I knew a safe place far far away from here.
She grabbed it and in a flash of purple I teleported to a little treehouse in a jungle. I found it by accident on one of my raids.
She fell asleep still holding on to my hand. I carried her over to a bed looking out a big glass window, and she slept."

"Wow! What an amazing story! Is there more?" Steve asked Bert.

"There certainly is Steve, there is." Bert sighed, then he continued,

"I sleep during the day, mostly, but this night, I wanted to be a human, so I slept at night, and woke up when the girl nudged me,

"You sleep standing up?! What? That is WEIRD!" she giggled I grunted as she was dancing around me, "Whats for breakfast?"
I nodded my head to the DispencerFridge and the DispencerCupboard.
She skipped her way there stood on the pressure plate, and out popped two cookies, a couple of eggs and a loaf of bread.

"C'mon Endie! Eat up!""

I looked at her strangely and sliced a piece of bread and sprinkled a bit of sugar on it.
As I was happily chewing my sugar coated bread, she said

"I'm sorry, I don't think you know my name its Emelia."

I understandably nodded.

"Do you know english?""

I understood it, but couldn't speak it.

"Do you want to learn?"

I nodded fiecely and smiled.
It look me six months to be able to speak english fluently, and my new friend Emelia she taught me everything.
One special day, we climbed the highest trees and sat looking at our surrondings until we spotted you in a clearing running around, I almost teleported down to see if you needed help."

"Why didn't you?" Steve asked.

"I saw you figure out how worked out things. This world needs a helping hand from a guy like you."

"Well thanks, I tried and I succeded."

"Thats good, all people don't really do that, they learn the recipe then make it, its good that you discovered it."

"Thanks Bert."

"This isn't the reason I came to you, meet me at the back of Aimstreet Avenue when the sun is in the first quarter of the sky, then I'll teleport you to our secret treehouse."

"What about Midday?"

"Your horse? He can come too."

"Ok, see you then, also Bert, what's the currency here?"

"I'll tell you that later."

"Ok, bye!" Steve said as Bert teleported away.

Steve flopped on his bed... And slept peacefully until the sun rose.
