Chapter 18 - Waterpark

"Ready girls?" Caitlin entered the room. The girls are doing last check for their things and toiletries to bring.

"Not yet," KJ replied eyes scanning the paper the counselors gave each girl of the list of things to bring.

"Okay KJ, you guys?" Caitlin asked the rest of the group.

"Yep, I'm done," Emilia said, zipping her bag.

"Me too," Scarlett voiced, followed by Ramisa's
"me three"

"Mhm," Owyn hummed while Katelyn nodded.

"Okay I'm done! Let's go!" KJ excitedly swinging her bag over her shoulder.

All the girls followed Caitlin to van where B is already waiting on the front seat. After series of hey's were done, they all hopped inside and B started driving.

The car ride is comfortably silent as all the girls are busy staring at the outside world, realizing they've forgot how wide and crowded the world is. The largest outdoor place in the hospital is the hospital's park and it was nothing compared to what they're looking at right now.

The counselors look at the girls from the mirror and at each other, communicating telepathically. They felt happy and sad at the same time. They're happy that they can finally be able to bring the girls outside the hospital but also sad that they couldn't do this often.

"Alright, we're here!" B exclaimed, as she pulled the handbrake. The counselors smile at the excitement each girl's face shows. This is gonna be a fun day!

"Yo! Look at me!" Emilia shouted to her friends before doing a front flip, earning applause from KJ and Scarlett. The three youngest and B are currently having a very competitive holding breath competition underwater. One by one they emerged from the water, Ramisa last, making her the winner. Caitlin functions as their photographer and cheerleader, taking pictures and cheering on them.

"Let's go to the slides!" Scarlett grins, her friends agreeing.

"Can we go ride the slides?" Ramisa asked B who nodded,

"Sure, but don't get too far from me, we must stay in group, okay?"

The girls agreed and they all head to the slides when KJ stopped them.

"Wait guys!" All of them stop to see KJ jumping up and down anxiously behind them.
"I need to use the toilet, you go first,"

With that she sped away.

"KJ wait!" Caitlin followed her, knowing of anything bad happened to any of the girls, the counselors are doomed.

"Should we go after them?" Emilia asked.

"Nah, I'm sure Cait can handle her, let's go now," B leads the group, carefully keeping an eye at all of them as the waterpark is a bit crowded.

Meanwhile, Caitlin is chasing KJ who's heading to the bathroom. People are looking at them weird, but Cait couldn't care less as of right now she needs to get KJ first.

"KJ wait! Don't run, it's slippery!" She called to the teen who doesn't even heard her. Finally they reached the bathroom and KJ quickly went inside the nearest stall. Caitlin stops in front of the girl's stall, huffing and puffing.

She sighs in relief, knowing the girl is safe. Not long, KJ went out with an innocent smile.

"I'm done, let's go back to the group," she was bout to head out before Caitlin gently grabbed her arm.
