Chapter 14- Family Day- Pt. 1

Beep beep beeep beep beep

Bang!
Emilia slams the alarm clock effectively shutting it off, she rolls over to face the wall but is stopped by the body next to her, she rubs her eyes as she remembers last night, almost all the girls had nightmares last night, herself included.. it ended up with the Kate, Owyn and Ramisa in one bed, and KJ in her bed. Scarlett stayed in her own bed even after KJ made an offer to share

"Morning Cooney" Emilia yawns as she watches her friend's eyes open, KJ stretches a groan escaping as her bones crack and pop

"Jeez" Emilia laughed as her friend smiled

"Morning Alphy" KJ mumbled before sitting up and rubbing her eyes

"Hey... Uh Caitlin is here with meds" Katelyn open the door to tell them before slipping out and closing the door

"You get dressed I'll wake the newbie" Emilia tells KJ who nods and climbs off her bed skipping to the dresser opening her assigned drawer pulling out her clothes as Emilia walks over to Scarlett's bed

"Uh... fuck wait coon can you wake her?" Emilia questioned her friend who pulled her shirt over her head with a nod, KJ knew how much Emilia hated to wake people up

"I'll get dressed" Emilia tells her walking to her assigned dresser and opening it up, she pulls out a black sweater and sweat pants not really caring, then again most clothes here are loose and baggy, the hoodies lack strings so you can hang yourself, and we don't have shoes, just special socks I mean unless you want zip ties for laces, just precaution measures they take here

"Morning!" Emilia snaps from her thoughts as Scarlett sits up stretching

"Morning" She mumbled tiredly before pulling the covers off

"Hey girls just seeing if your awake for medicine and todays schedule" Caitlin asked peeking into the room

"We're awake!" KJ says happily skipping from the room leaving the two

"Look Scarlett, I am sorry I've been pretty rude lately" Emilia starts pulling her sweatpants on and sitting on her bed pulling her socks on

"No I should apologize, I was mean the second I got here I was rude to you guys" Scarlett says they sit in silence before Emilia stands

"Get dressed" Emilia says leaving the room entering the living room where Caitlin is waiting, she hands Emilia her meds who takes them quickly and sits on the couch next to Ramisa who was in her own little world

"Ah Scarlett now that your all out here, here's your med and today as you girls know is Family day" Caitlin says KJ and the twins roll there eyes normally having no one come to visit on these days, so naturally they wait in the room

"Now we received some calls, and it seems you all have someone coming in today" This causes KJ, Kate and Owyn to fly up wide eyed no one EVER visits them and if its who they think they DO NOT want to see them

"I'm sorry but what?! Who's coming?" Owyn questioned and Caitlin shrugged

"We aren't sure, all we know is we got calls and you all will be seeing some form of family today

"No thank you." KJ mumbled she would rather sit in solitary then go down there

"KJ, it could be someone who really wants to see you" Caitlin tells her, the younger girl just crosses her arms

"We will be there the whole time coon promise" Emilia tells her, KJ sighs but nods as Caitlin smiles

"Great, head to breakfast then to the family room okay?" the girls nod as she leaves before standing up and quietly making there way downstairs to the cafeteria, each girl lost in there thoughts

"I wonder if my parents can bring me home yet"

"Who is here for us?!" 

"I don't want to do this"

"Fucking hell no one ever visits me who cou- ooo thats a new window!"

"I wonder if my dad snuck me salmon in again"

"I just want to see my brother and then sleep"

"Mmm I wonder who came to see me"

"Bagels for breakfast" Emilia mumbled semi happily

"I see cereal all I want" Ramisa chuckles as they grab there trays standing in line to get there food, the girls get assortments, Ramisa and KJ grab cereal along with some muffins, Emilia, Kate and Scarlett get bagels and some fruit, and Owyn gets some fruit and a couple muffins before they sit at there table and eat, in silence but thats nothing new. Usually KJ is talking there ears off but today shes silent.

"So... uhm how long is Family day?" Scarlett asked breaking the silence

"However long you want.. well it goes till dinner but you can leave the room at any time and be done with it" Emilia explained as she finished her bagel, she was naturally a quick eater so she finished before the others a lot

"Oh, Okay" Scarlett mumbles taking a bite, surprisingly there bagels aren't as bad as there everyday normal food, after eating there food they quietly make there way downstairs, the nerves growing in 3 of the girls at anticipation at whos here to see them

"Do I have to?" KJ mumbled as they entered the room, it was fairly packed with people and kids, all happy to see each other

"If it gets to much you can leave or find me, you know my dad likes you" Emilia tells her as she spots her dad across the room, she pats her friends shoulder before running over giving him a hug, Scarlett spots her parents and quickly makes her way over to them

"Uh my brother is over there okay?" KJ nodded at her friend as she ran over hugging her brother she takes a deep breath looking at the twins

"Lets see whos here for us yeah?" The girls nod as they walk around, only to see the last people they want to see

"Mom?!" KJ backs up seeing her mother 

"Kiersten" Her mother says

"Aunt Jacky?!" Owyn questioned semi angerly seeing her aunt again

"Owyn, Katelyn"

The girls stood in shock and anger, of all people why them?
