Chapter 2- Fights

"Why are you so angry??" KJ asked the angry girl who was laying on her bed, there was a bunk bed in the corner and then a single bed on the other side. KJ slowly walks over to the girl who had her faced buried into the pillow and gently rubs her back

"What happened?" the younger of the two asked, Emilia looked over at her, she had tears slowly falling down her face

"I hate the doctors... they act like they know everything, but they DON'T" she screams the last bit slamming her face into the pillow once again with a muffled scream

"I'm sorry nugs, maybe we can ask B about a new one?" Kj suggested laying down next to Emilia wrapping an arm around her

"Ugh maybe?! I don't even know why I bother" This has KJ sitting up staring at her friend, the usually bubbly happy nature replaced with something more serious

"Emilia Ranucci! Do NOT speak like that, they are trying to help you get better, you just got the a bad doctor we can find you someone who actually listens but do not give up" Emilia slowly looks up at her friend with a small sigh she nods

"I know KJ..." She mumbles hugging her pillow tightly as a knock draws their attention

"Open up!" KJ's yells her happy nature back in its usual spot the door opens and reveals Ramisa and the new girl

"So, Scarlett is crashing in here yeah?" Ramisa questioned earning a nod

"Yup on the single bed" KJ points to the bed and Scarlett slowly makes her way to the small but quaint bed setting her suitcase on it she did not bother making eye contact with anyone

"Thanks peaches can you check on the twins for me?" Emilia says as Ramisa nods leaving the room rather quickly

"So, Scarlett what are some things you like? I like drawing and taking photos! And tv but that's only on free days which isn't for a few days- "KJ starts rambling

"Shut the fuck up" Scarlett snaps her anger getting the best of her as KJ flinches at the sudden outburst shrinking into Emilia who glares at this girl

"Oi who the fuck you think you are" She questions angerly, she was protective of her family and this new girl was not about to make any of them feel scared because she has temper issues or whatever her problem was

"Ugh just stop talking your giving me a headache" She groans sitting on her bed

"I don't know who you think you are but this is OUR room so you can sleep in the hall for all I care" Emilia already pissed from previous issues with her doctor was on a war path and this girl was definitely not starting off on the right term

"Nugs its fine she's new she doesn't even know" KJ mumbled tugging on the older girl who was glaring furiously at Scarlett who merely rolled her eyes and looked at KJ

"Know what?" She questioned

"Anything about us, therefore you have no room to tell us anything" KJ tells her, she was still hiding behind Emilia who was still glaring at the girl

"Dinner time" Ramisa yells through the door

"FOOD!" KJ yells making a mad dash for the door and into the living room, Scarlett follows slowly and turns back to Emilia who pushes past her following her friends, they make there way downstairs for dinner and to the already packed cafeteria, full of people with their own scars and stories

"I wonder what it is today?!" KJ asked hyperly as she bounced in her spot, the twins talked quietly to one and another, Ramisa was looking around rapidly as Emilia just stared ahead, she was impatient and did not want to wait in this long, Finally they were able to grab there trays, the food wasn't the best but it was good

"I am not ready for group therapy tomorrow" Katelyn mumbles to Owyn who nods

"Group therapy?" Scarlett asked

"Yeah... we all sit in a circle and talk about our feelings" Emilia says as she gathers more of the bland food before they make their way to there table in the far corner and sit, Scarlett watches as Katelyn organizes her food by color before she eats, starting with her vegetables first she raises a brow but shrugs taking a bite of her food, she makes a disgusted face

"This is gross" she mumbles

"Get use to it" Emilia groans eating her food quickly

"What if I don't want to" her temper was already flaring

"Enough already" Ramisa yells covering her ears angerly, she wanted their voices plus the ones in her head to just go away

"Hey peaches look at me, the voices are wrong whatever they are saying are wrong okay?" KJ tells her she just nods, Emilia stops talking letting her friend have the silence she needs

"Ugh" Scarlett groans setting her fork down she was done with this gross food

"OH I did arts and crafts in therapy today!! I made you guys something" KJ speaks up and the girls nod

"Can't wait to see it coon" Emilia says with a small smile as the others nodded in agreement all but one who was looking around, maybe Sunday on parent day she can convince her parents to take her home! That was going to be the plan.

"So how does group therapy work?" Scarlett asked as they entered the empty room with chairs in a circle there in the middle was Caitlin with her signature smile

"Good morning girls! Take a seat" she says gently as each girl sits in one of the chairs

"Now seeing as we have someone new you are to say your name, age and why you are here" the girls exchange looks silently determining who is going first

"Hi!! I am KJ! I am 16 and I have ADHD and DID!! Oh, I have been here for a year!" KJ says happily being the first to speak, Emilia sighs but goes next

"Hi, I'm Emilia I am 16 and I have severe depression, been here for about 8 months" she is tired and ready for bed, even though she hardly sleeps from her god awful thoughts she was done with today already and it was barely noon

"I'm Ramisa, I am 15 and I have Insomnia and Schizophrenia... been here for 6 months" Ramisa says with a loud yawn as she slinks in her chair, she got an hour of sleep last night

"I am owyn... this is my twin Katelyn and we are 13, I have PTSD and Kate has OCD and we both have a attachment disorder.. we been here for about a year" Owyn speaks up for the twins who then went straight back to there own world leaving one person left

"Hi, I am Scarlet I am 15 and I am Bipolar" Scarlett explains to the group, things where starting to make sense about the girls now that she actually knew what was going on

"Great and now let's move on to backstories who wants to start??" Caitlin asked and the girls exchanged looks once again

"I guess we will" the twins speak up as everyone gives them their attention.

"Good! Whenever your ready girls"
