Chapter 6- KJ

Two chapters in one day damn boi. Anyway another tissue box *hands tissues* carry on

"Oh, my turn?! Great!! Oh, I have ADHD and DID!! And uh... wait what am I doing?" KJ asked Emilia who just chuckled

"Backstory coon" Emilia tells her, and her happy demeanor falls quickly

"Oh yeah that.. Oh okay yeah" KJ takes a deep breath

"Would you calm the fuck down!!" Her mom screamed shoving the 14-year-old to the floor, this was normal to her. She could not control herself like her mother and father wanted her to

"Sorry mom" KJ whispered sadly before running to the supply closet, it was her hiding spot. She went there a lot

"You should fight her back" Avery's voice cut in and she shook her head, the voices in her head often would fight, one wanted her to run away the other to fight. They had names and sometimes they actually took her over, it scared her sometimes

"No" KJ said to no one but the faint voice only she could hear.

"Kiersten!!!" Her mother screamed, she clamped her hands on her ears, she hated her name with a passion and didn't want to be called it anymore, she loved the name KJ and wish her mom would call her that instead

"Let's go!!" The door fly's open as her mom yanks her out of the tiny closet, she has a tight grip that's sure to leave bruises on the young girls wrist, her body had scars and bruises that where nearly healed, her mother made sure to NEVER leave visible marks that where hard to cover

"We have guest coming over... embarrass us and you're getting it" Her mom growls out before grabbing another beer going into the kitchen, with a quick turn KJ bolts to her room, she wanted to play with what little toys she had before mom got mad, of course her small attention span led her to the attic where she was digging through old artifacts, she found dolls which scared her so she buried them in boxes, she found old photos but didn't bother with those very long, which led her to old books but those don't interest her either. She decided to build a box fort that's fun right?

"You know you're not allowed up here" Her father said, he was only bad when he was drinking or high, he was definitely sober right now

"I know but mom has all my stuff and I wanted to play because I need a place to hide and I also have homework and haven't started that and I am sorry" KJ rambled out to her dad who simply shook his head

"You know the rules" He simply stated, and the young girl sighed before nodding to leave the room she quickly ran to her small room, it had nothing but a dresser, a bed and a small broken desk in the corner. KJ sighed she was getting a small headache and dizzy, she sat on her bed and waited it out, she hasn't eaten in like 3 days, she doesn't have money to buy food at school and even if she did someone would steal it, she's known as the psycho at school

"I hate it here" She mumbled before her mind went to a better place, she created this world in her head, where everything was perfect, her parents where happy and loved her, she had a lot of friends at school... I was peaceful and she loved it, the voices, and the problems she faced seemed like nothing anymore. She felt free.

"Kiersten!!" A voice yelled, it wasn't KJ in control her Alter Lily was, a sweet innocent 5-year-old with a heart of gold

"Kiersten!!" The voice sounded angry which scared the child, she watched as the door slammed opened and her mom stormed in angerly

"When I yell your name, you answer!!" Her mother screamed

"Uh and oh look! Caitlin you have new stickers! that's so cool" Emilia and Ramisa shared a knowing look and then back at the hyper girl who was obviously trying to steer from her story

"KJ" Caitlin said gently but sternly

"Come on you got this" Ramisa told her and Emilia nodded, KJ sighed but nodded slightly

"Yeah right anyway my mother wasn't really believing of my problems... she said they where fake and I was just making it up for attention" her voice was monotone as she took a deep breath

"I still hate your mother" Emilia grumbled folding her arms as KJ chuckled and nodded

"Me too... anyway"

"I uh didn't hear you same my name" the young 5 year old spoke, staring at her mother in fear, she was trembling as her mother got closer, with a quick snap a new alter made her presence Avery, she was protective and violent of them all, and she HATED when she or her others where threatened

"Back the fuck off" Avery growled out scaring their mother she looked at her in shock

"Who do you think you are!!" Her mom screamed

"Your fucking daughter CINDY!" Avery screamed at her mother, or if you can call her that.

"I uh basically... well Avery attacked her... the cops where called and they brought me to a hospital... I was covered in cuts cause glass and bruises and they saw old scarring and dammit I'm rambling... and they determined I am to come here... been here for a whole year now" KJ muttered sitting down

"Thank you KJ if you would like to go back to your room you can" Caitlin told her with a warm smile she just shook her head

"I'm fine" she says leaning on Emilia who smiled and wrapped her arms around her as Scarlett sat in silence, she felt bad for the girls but now it was her time to talk and she wasn't sure what to say

"Alright Scarlett your turn to share" All eyes turned to her as they waited for her to begin.
