first day - chapter 2

Elizabeth's pov

I woke up around 4:44, I had to be at work around 7 so I got up and walked to my closet. I grabbed a light brown skirt and a white button up, I also grabbed two towels and walked into my bathroom. I stripped down and started the shower. I got in a washed my hair and body before getting out and drying off. I changed into my skirt and button up. I walked out and grabbed my black heels and slipped them on. I put on light brown vest and walked back into the bathroom. I did my hair and makeup. I checked the time. "5:37am, Way to early for me" I said to myself with a small giggle as I walked downstairs and poured my coffee I had made before doing my hair. I took a sip and sat down thinking if I had everything. I soon finished my coffee and went back to my bathroom and brushed my teeth, I then also checked the time "6:13am" I whispered before grabbing my stuff and walking downstairs and outside. I got into my car and drove to my new job. I was nervous of course, who wouldn't be?

Once I arrived at the BAU I got out and walked inside going the straight to my desk. Yes I had met everyone one but I was still new and I wasn't going to force any friendships. I began to write in my note pad about the case we were going to be working on today. Four families were killed in just 42 hours, our unsub was moving quickly and he obviously had no plan of stopping anytime soon. "Meeting, Now" Morgan said to everyone. I watched everyone stand up and walk into a large meeting room. I followed behind being very quiet. I sat down in the only open seat which happened to in the middle of Reid and Hotchner.

"Wheels up in 30" Hotchner said before I watched everyone walk out again. I of course followed even more quietly then before. Once we all boarded the jet I sat down in the way back away from everyone. I spoke a little bit during the meeting so I did something right.

At the crime scene

Me, Hotch and Morgan were all at the crime scene. I was walking around looking at every little detail I could. Hotch was taking notes as he questioned people and Morgan was on the phone with Reid. "Hey Morgan, May I speak with Reid?" I asked, I needed to figure something out and I needed Reid's help. "What's up?" Morgan asked, "Please?" I asked one last time, Morgan nodded and handed me the phone. "Reid, How likely is our unsub to have a family of his own?" I asked. Reid did his thing and gave me a very fast answer. "There a 36% chance he could have a family" He said. "Okay thank you" I said handing the phone back to Morgan.

The arrest of the unsub

Me and the team went into a house where the unsub was. Morgan grabbed him and put him in cuffs, to my surprise the unsub didn't fight, yell, or even cry. He just let Morgan put him in the cuffs and walked to the car before being put in. Reid and I were side by side, he was panting and so was I since we both had to run around the house to grab the kids. Reid looked at me and smiled softly. "How's uh..Your first day going?" He asked softly. "Good...I really could use some sleep though" I said laughing a bit.

The fly home

I was now sitting next to Gideon and sitting across from Hotch. "So...You like working with the team?" Gideon asked softly. I nodded and smiled widely, "Yes, you guys are so sweet" I said leaning back into my seat. "Good, I'm glad you like it" Hotch said nodding. I just smiled and closed my eyes slowly falling asleep. I heard Hotch and Gideon stand up and sit down beside someone else.

Landing

Once we landed I woke up to Morgan shaking me gently. "Hey Female version of  Reid, We landed" He said making me and Reid blush as I stood up and grabbed my stuff. I walked off the Jet and waited for Reid. "H-Hey?" He asked "Hey...I was wondering if you'd like to get some dinner.." I asked fixing my skirt. "You buying cause I'm in" Morgan said, "Oh me too!" Elle added, "Don't forget me, Hotch and Gideon" JJ said. "I'll call Pen on the way to the restaurant" Morgan said walking to one of our cars. "I'd uh love to but-" Reid started, "But nothing, he'll be there" JJ said before her, Morgan, Elle and Gideon got in a car. I smiled and got into a car with Hotch and Reid.

Dinner

I was sitting at the head of the table across from Reid, the team did that of course. We were all in the middle of ordering our food when Reid tapped his glass. "I would uh, like to officially welcome Elizabeth to our team..That's all..I don't do speech's" He said and raised his glass with a small smile. My face grew red as the team raised their glasses and cheered. I smiled and raised mine and clicked it with as many people as I could. I was home, these people were already my family and I could tell I was really going to love working with them.

Getting home

Once I was home I kicked off my heels and took my jacket off. I sat my bag off and walked into my bathroom. I started my shower and walked into my room. I grabbed a purple tank top and black shorts, I loved being cold well I slept. I then grabbed my slippers and two towels before walking back into the bathroom. I shut the door and stripped down. In the middle of my shower I heard a faint knock coming from my front door. I jumped a bit before getting out and wrapping my hair up, I also wrapped a towel around my body and slipped my slippers on. I walked into my room and slipped my robe on quickly and ran to my front door as I tied it. "hello?" I asked as I opened the door. It was Reid to my surprise. "O-o-oh I'm sorry, I thought uh um-" I stopped him, "It's fine Reid, what's up?" I asked. "I was wondering if this weekend you'd like to go to a movie with me..No one else wants to go so..I asked you..wait..that seems bad..I mean tech-" I stopped him again, "I'll go Spencer" I said softly, "Let's talk about this tomorrow so I can get dressed and sleep" I said smiling. "Okay! Thank you" He said happily before leaving quickly. I shook my head and laughed. I then changed and laid down in my bed. "Wait..How did he know where I lived?" I asked myself before I felt myself drift into a deep sleep.
