Note:  Happy Thanksgiving! I'm sorry for updating late, I had homework and other stuff.

The two elves stood at a busy intersection, waiting for Keefe to remember the directions.

Keefe was 90% sure that Body and Bath works, the most biggest shop for ingredients, was found left down the road and across the intersection, then right. Okay, 84% sure.

It was hard to focus as every few seconds Keefe made sure to check that Tam hadn't been turned into silver-haired roadkill.

"Honestly, I'm not a baby! I know not to jump in front of a car!" Tam protested after Keefe did it for the twentieth time.

Hmmm. Or was it turn right then turn left and cross the intersection. Or maybe...

"That's it." Tam said, cutting off Keefe's train of thought, "I'm asking for directions."

He turned to a random elf waiting at the crosswalk.

"Excuse me, but do you know where Body and Bath Works is?" Tam asked.

"Go straight till you see Slurps and Burps, then turn left and cross the crosswalk. Keep going until you are hit with a nauseating smell of perfume."

"Thanks!" Tam smiled. Keefe raised his eyebrows. Has Tam ever smiled before? He should have taken a picture for future blackmail.

Tam caught Keefe's gaze and glared at him. Keefe snorted. Guess it was a once-in-a-blue-moon thing after all.

The pair followed the directions the random elf had given them until they were hit by the stomach turning aroma of dozens of perfume samples.

"I ...think that's it." Tam said coughing.

Keefe turned and saw the silver building.

He took his last breath of fresh air before entering the store.

The room was clouded with glittery fog of every colour. There were bottles and bottles of potions, lotions and other ingredients, arranged by colour.

Keefe turned to Tam, whose face was hidden in his sleeve. "Okay, so let's split up. You get the bubble powder and vanilla milk, and I'll get the cactus root and golden paint. We'll meet back at the door."

Tam nodded.

Keefe turned and started to look through the shelves. Golden paint should probably be in the yellow section, so he started to look through all the yellow bottles.

As the fog moved around the store, Keefe was forced to stand through orange, pink and green colored fog.

He actually didn't mind the green fog so much, but orange and pink had him coughing while the glitter covered him from head to toe. If he ever smelled warm vanilla sugar or cherry blossom ever again he thought he might puke.

Finally he caught a glimpse of the golden paint and reached up to grab the bottle. One down, one to go. His head pounded from the smells.

Where would cactus root be? Cactuses are green, sure, but the root is brown. Would the root be packaged separately from the plant, or would he just have to buy the plant and remove the root himself?

He tried to look around for a store employee but the fog was so thick that he couldn't see past his own hand. He was starting to feel slightly dizzy from the amount of smells and colours wafting around him.
