Jennie's perception of time had worsen as days went by, her mind was clouded with vivid images of how things could end up like with the other man.

If she told him the truth, would he expose her in front of the media?

Would he hate her and hurt her?

Even though Kai would never do that, she still felt unsafe. Not liking the other gender made her feel unsafe and as if she was sick, but that was normal.

It was all the pressure of the media, her parents, her fans, everything was crumbling her away so she completely lost track everything.

And she knew she should've been more attentive to the time, to the days flying by, because that knock of their dorm indicated that she got her unwanted visitor.

Her bedroom door creaked opened and Jisoo smiled apologetically, "Jennie, Kai is here. He says he needs to talk to you."

Her eyes shot open, of course he needed to talk to her.

She sat up, her anxiety kicking in and soon after wards waves of unending nausea.

"Thanks for telling me, can you please make sure none of the girls overhear our conversation, please?" Jennie asked and Jisoo nodded.

"Of course, Jennie. You get ready I'll take Rosé and Lisa to the store or ice cream parlor." She smiled and Jennie thanked her, watching how the older woman left her in pure silence.

Jennie sprung off her bed and into the bathroom, getting ready to brush her teeth and hair to at least look presentable.

She placed one of Y/Ns small hoodies and made sure the three ladies left before she could invite the other man in.

Her heart beat incredibly fast seeing his face after months, "Jennie, are you alright?"

The man seemed worried and when he neared for a kiss, Jennie stepped back, eyebrows furrowed with a hint of sadness.

"Kai, we need to talk about something really important." Jennie looked at his eyes and the man nodded.

"Sure, I came all the way for you. What's the matter, love?"

Every word the man was letting crushed her soul even more, further blaming herself for what she had done. Praying for forgiveness for breaking the man's heart.

"We can't continue this relationship." She stated, blame taking over her and tears lining up her brown eyes.

Kai placed soothing hands over her covered shoulders and he nodded, too worried over her state rather than their relationship ending.

"Alright, it's ok. Jennie, you don't need to cry. You've done nothing wrong." He smiled sweetly and Jennie shook her head.

She should've thanked him and ended the conversation, but she continued, "I can't believe I'm hurting you like this, Kai. I figured I couldn't be with you because I like girls. I fell in love with another woman and I dated you thinking that you could change me."

Kai shook his head, "Jennie, we all make mistakes. I'm not mad at you, I'm a little sad about us ending, but I would never force myself upon you. I wish you a lot of happiness with the love of your life."

Jennie sighed relieved, "Please don't tell anyone else, pl-"

The other man hugged her, "It's alright, you're my secret. Nobody will know about this, alright? I got you."

Jennie spent a bit of the afternoon crying in her friends arms.
