After she was done performing and several artists too, they were all called to the stage to reveal the winners for the main prize. Song of the week.

Jennie looked at her competitors and swallowed nervously, certainly the other artists around her had better probability of winning her.

The MC stood at the front and the crowd went quiet at the results being played out on the monitors. Jennie watched how her song rose up to number one until-

"And the winner is..." There was a small moment of anticipation before the host of the program yelled, "Solo! Congratulations Jennie!" The crowd cheered and the shocked girl walked to the center.

Behind her, Kai, a member of the group Exo grinned at her politely. She smiled back and accepted the award, "Thank you so much for this award, it means that a lot of you out there are enjoying the music, which is a HUGE relief! I won't stop performing for you Blinks."

The familiar beat of her song started playing and artists that were behind her started leaving the stage so she could interact with her fans or sing the song.

After her short and cute performance she went straight to the fourth floor of the building, were the cafeteria was, and where other idols hanged for a bit before leaving.

Before she could order herself one sandwich someone tapped her shoulder.

She turned and Kai smiled down at her, "Here, you can have my sandwich, there's no need for you to buy one."

She shyly took the piece of food and nodded, "Thank you so much, I appreciate your kindness Kai."

The man just nodded, "Your performance was amazing by the way, I loved it."

Jennie, not being used to a man flirting with her, became a flustered mess. "Thank you! Really, was it good?"

Kai smiled, "Cutie, of course it was."

Jennie covered her face, smile completely taking over, "Thank you, thank you, I really liked your group's performance as well. You guys must practice for long periods of time, right?"

Kai nodded, "Yes, it's tiring. But in the end, hearing the fans cheering because they liked it is rewarding, don't you think?"

Jennie nodded, "I do, it's one of the best feelings in the world."

"Well, I'll leave you to eat. My group has to go to back to the agency for some planning, have a safe day Jennie."

She smiled shyly, "Thanks, take care!"

And with that he left.

Kai seemed like a nice guy, she liked him. Those familiar butterflies were present while they talked, this troubled her. She knew she still wanted Y/N, but Kai didn't seem like a bad option either.

Both genders were extremely attractive. Kai had that masculinity that she loved, while Y/N had that femininity and beauty she loved as well. It was hard to pick.

She unwrapped the sandwich and a little paper fell down. Jennie furrowed her eyebrows, confused as to what it was, and picked the piece of paper up.
It was a phone number scribbled out.

She grinned and tucked it in one of her pockets.

Kai it would be then.
