*The First Live Show*

"Are you sure they aren't here yet?" I asked my cousin for the hundreth time.

"Yes I'm sure. I was like literally just out there and did not see any of them." Theo replied before walking off to the audience.

So tonight's the first live show and Theo says our fathers aren't even here. The five of us planned this big surprise song for them for nothing. I guess we're just surprising Simon this week because he hasn't heard us rehearse all week.

"ALEX!" Annemarie yelled, shaking me from my thoughts.

"What?" I asked, coming back into reality.

"We're on." She says before running after the other girls who were already on stage.

Oops.

As I ran out on stage, the crowd was already going wild and on their feet. The atmosphere in the room right now is amazing.

I didn't even notice the music started playing until Emily started singing. But when I finally realized I quickly looked over at Simon, and he looked pretty shocked.

When we finished, the crowd and the judges were on their feet as usual. I am never going to get used to that.

"That was amazing girls. I loved it." Katy said once the crowd settled down.

"In my opinion, you sang that way better than your fathers did. Great job." Ed told us with a huge smile.

It's now Simon's turn and I am so nervous to what he has to say.

"That was a lovely surprise. I haven't heard that song in a very long time. Ed is probably right, I think you sang that better than your fathers. I can guarantee that you girls will be here next week." Simon said to us, which put smiles on our faces.

After the judges gave us our feedback, the host came and talked to us for a moment before we left the stage.

"THAT WAS AMAZING!" Annemarie yelled once we arrived in our dressing room.

"I know right." I replied with a smile.

"Do you really think we were better than our fathers?" Emily asked as she sat down on once of the couches.

"I have no idea. I've never heard them sing." I replied as the others nodded in agreement.

"Maybe we should listen to them sing?" Jessica suggested as our families entered the dressing room.

"Good job girls." Grandpa said with a huge smile.

"Thank you." We responded in unison.

"Honestly, Ed and Simon were right. You definitely sang that song better than your fathers." Perrie admitted.

"Do you really think so?" Jamie asked.

"I mean, we haven't heard them sing, so we wouldn't know." Annemarie added.

"You definitely were." Perrie replied.

For the rest of the night, we talked, went back to the hotel and ate food before we went to bed. We have to get up early in the morning to start choosing a song for next week. Then we have to start rehearsing that song. So yeah, we're going to be very busy for as long as we're on the X Factor.
