The Judges House

*Liam's POV*

So, it's been a month since Sophia and Emily have gone on their little mother-daughter day and they haven't come back since. That day, I decided to make dinner for them for when they got home, so we can at least have some family time. When I called Sophia to see where they were, she told me that her and Emily are going to be taking a mother-daughter trip somewhere and didn't tell me where or for how long. I was a little upset because I went out and bought everything and I was just about to start cooking. So now all I have been doing is going to work and coming home and not doing anything.

During the week when my daughter is at a club or a sport, it's usually just me and Sophia at home. But on the weekends, especially Saturdays, Emily always makes sure she's home because she knows how much it means to me when we spend time together as a family. But now I don't know what to do with myself because I'm home alone.

*Annemarie's POV*

*A month later*

The girls and I had a very exciting month. We had decided to go through boot camp as solo's, but we were soon formed into a group and made it though boot camp. Right now, the girls and I are preparing to perform at the judges house. We're currently about to perform in front of Simon and it's nerve wrecking because our fathers had performed in front of him when they were in this position. I guess we're under a lot of pressure.

"Girls, you're up." A staff member told us before leaving.

"Well, it's now or never." Emily told us.

"Yup." I responded as we made our way out to Simon.

"Hello girls." Simon said to us when we were finally in front of him.

"Hello." We responded in unison.

"You girls ready?" Simon asked us.

"As ready as we'll ever be." Emily responded.

"Good. Whenever you're ready." Simon told us, indicating that we can start.

Once we gave the okay, the band behind us started playing the song that took Simon by suprise. I knew this because his face was full of shock. And the shock wasn't there only for a second. It was there the whole time we sang the song.

"[Jessica]

Going out tonight
Changes into something red
Her mother doesn't like that kind of dress
Everything she never had she's showing off

[Emily]

Everything she never had she's showing off

[Jamie]

We're only getting older, baby
And I been thinking about it lately
Does it ever drive you crazy
Just how fast the night changes?
Everything that you've ever dreamed of
Disappearing when you wake up
But there's nothing to be afraid of
Even when the night changes
It will never change me and you

[Annemarie]

Chasing it tonight,
Doubts are running ‘round her head
He's waiting, hides behind a cigarette
Heart is beating loud, and she doesn't want it to stop

[Alexandra]

Moving too fast
Moon is lighting up her skin
She's falling, doesn't even know it yet
Having no regrets is all that she really wants

[All]

We're only getting older, baby
And I been thinking about it lately
Does it ever drive you crazy
Just how fast the night changes?
Everything that you've ever dreamed of
Disappearing when you wake up
But there's nothing to be afraid of
Even when the night changes
It will never change me and you
