Hook, Line, and Screamer

The Campers were spending the night watching a slasher film. The gore was entertaining and the Slasher looked quite cool. Then for some reason the couple started making out in the car in the film.

"He's coming out of the woods with a big hacking chainsaw. That's so cool!" Izzy commented.

"Oh no! Psycho-killer man's going for the car!" Owen pointed while covering his eyes.

"Yo, fool couple! Stop making out and start the car!" Leshawna yelled while throwing popcorn at the screen.

"They're gonna be chainsaw sushi!" Izzy laughed.

Then a girl screamed as the car was damaged by the slasher.

"Great canadian cheese! Now the car won't start!" Owen shouted.

"Oh man. I hate scary movies." DJ commented in fear.

"Run, the psycho's gonna get ya!" Izzy yelled.

"Kill those stupid kids, big guy!" yelled Jesse . He wasn't fond of the characters in the film.

DJ then dropped down in fear, shaking and covering his head.

"Here comes the blood-fest!" Gwen said and the couple were sawed to pieces.

The campers recoiled in horror while Jesse, Duncan and Gwen commented on the gore in excitement and bloodlust.

"Oh, the chainsaw psycho's going back to the woods. He's getting away! Yeah! Good ending! Izzy loves scary movies!" Izzy commented and jumped into Owen's arms.

"So does Owen." he said and looked to Jesse, Duncan and DJ, who gave him a thumbs up for scoring a girl.

"Whoof. Am I ever glad that's over. I really hate scary movies." DJ said, a little shaken.

"Oh yeah? What scares ya most? The... uh... part where everyone meets a grizzly death or the psycho-killer with the hook?!" Duncan then pulled out a prop hook to scare DJ, who ran and hid behind Leshawna as everyone laughed at this.

/"Dude! That was NOT cool!"/ (DJ)

"Aw come on, Deej. For a slasher flick, it was pretty tame." Gwen said as she put the reel back in it's box.

"Yeah there was hardly any hacking. Not like... Bloodbath 2: Summer Camp Reign of Terror!" Duncan commented.

"No way! That's my favorite movie!" Gwen said.

"I've seen that flick. Not a bad film." Jesse commented.

"I love when the killer jams that guy's hand into the lawnmower!" Gwen said.

"Hah! Or when he pushes the chick off the dock and then she lands on a propeller blade that slices her in half!" Duncan smiled while karate chopping.

"Or when he beats that guy to death with a flaming baseball bat with nails!" Jesse added.

"Or when he shoves that big dude's head inside the wood chipper!" The three of them jinxed.

DJ then jumped into Leshawna's arms gasping in terror.

Jesse, Duncan and Gwen gave each other a low five.

"Aw, looks like Gwen, Jesse and Duncan have more in common than bad fashion sense. It's just mindless guts and gore." Heather mocked.

"Horror movies aren't mindless." Gwen responded.

"Yeah. They're loaded with psychological trauma. Look at DJ." Duncan added.

Leshawna then pushed DJ off her.

"Though this one? I give two and a half stars out of five for gore and cool effects but drab characters and choices. Nothing like my favorite gore fest and one of the coolest horrors ever, John Carpenter's *The Thing*!" Jesse said.
