Aa a newly turned 19 year old. You move away from home to LA to persue your dreams. You've got alot of hidden talents that hide behind your modeling and singing careers.
It had been a few weeks since the serial killer was shot down and my leg was healed. Everything was okay. Nothing was wrong. A few problems here and there but nothing out of the ordinary. I wasnt greiving anymore and I had found the peace in such a horibele disaster. My truck window was fixed and we all grew closer as a family.
Ian, Dom, Padre, Darius, and Heidi left to visit home for a while. They missed their families and I could understand that. We all could. Mel, Zach, Bryan, Chris, Tyler, and I had all planned a "family out day". I had showered before we left and gotten dressed. About 10 minutes before we were supossed to leave a giant thunder boom cracked acrossed the sky. It scared me but I quickly brushed it off. I finished my makeup and got dressed putting on my shoes.

I double dutch braided my hair. My hair still reached down to my butt when it was braided. "Holy crap." I said aloud to myself. I didnt realize how much hair I actually had. I laughed to myself plugging in my headphones turning on my music as I left my room.
Once I got to the bottom of the stairs the houses power went out. "Thats great." I said to myself. More thunder cracked across the sky and lightning stuck the ground and rain hammered down harder then anything. I turned on my phones flash light as I called out for someone. Luckily everyone was inside. "Is anyone inside?" I yelled aloud scared to move. "Were all in the den!" A voice hollered out. I felt safe anough to move but still scared from the storm. "Where did this storm come from?" I ask as I get inside the den joining everyone.
Just as I sat on the couch everyones phones went off. It was a weather alert. "Hurricane?" I ask aloud reading it. "Yeah." Tyler said looking at everyone. "Come on. We have a few hours before the store shut down lets go get some stuff." Mel said. "Mel, Skylar, and Chris. Y'all go to the store we will get things ready here." Zach said. I took the keys and ran to the vehicle. I pulled the vehicle around close to the door so they could get in without getting soaked to the bones.
Once they were in I drove away slowly. The roads were bearly visivle and the rain was thick and hard. (Pause in story. With Skylars luck should she really be driving? And uh.... 😳 that dont sound right.... Back to story.)
