For the next few days I kept my suffering to myself. Only Mel knew what happened and she kept her word and kept it to ourselves. It was getting harder to keep it silent. "Mel. Can we talk?" I asked. She said yes and we walked to my room.
"Whats wrong?" She asked after my door was shut. "I cant keep pretending like everything is okay. All I want to do is scream!" I exclaimed breaking down. "Let it out. Let it all out!" She said hugging me. After about an hour of my breaking down I was done. I let it all out and I felt better. "Im sorry." I said after I collected myself. "Its okay. You feel better?" She asked wiping my eyes. "Yeah." I said honestly. "Im still hurting. But I know I cant do anything about it and my mom is watching over me from above. I know shes proud of me. And I know she isnt in pain anymore. I know shes okay. So I can get better." I said hugging Mel tightly.
"Yeah. Ready to get downstairs? The boys have been asking me about you. Ive told them its not for me to say." She said as we walked to my door. "I'll tell them if they ask." I said as we walked downstairs. "Okay love." Mel said. "Hey girly." They boys greeted me. "Hey." I said getting some orange juice.
"What are we doing this weekend? Its Thursday." I asked. "We are going camping. Disconecting from technology and people and connecting with mother nature and her wonderful gifts." Zach said standing like a brave knight who just rode in to save a lost princess. We all laughed at the way he spoke and the way he stood. He lightened the mood by 10 shades.
"When do we leave?" I asked. "Friday morning. We will have our phones of course but they will be put up only to be used for emergency. No one should have any form of contact with technology. We should only come in contact with our cars." Mel said cutting in. "Im going to go get ready. How many day will we be camping for?" I asked before I left the room. "Anywhere from 5 to 8 days. We updated our socials so everyone knows. And your Birdies know as well." Bryan said.
"Okay. Thanks. I'll see y'all in a bit." I said. "Only pack some clothes and what you need to survive." Tyler said. "Got it." I said running off. I found my beach bag and cleaned it out. Luckily it was solid black so it was more of a duffle bag. But I packed at least 7 changes of clothes. Its better to be safe then sorry. I made sure to pack plently of socks as well.

How I managed to fold everything it didnt take up much space at all. Medium sized bag and alot of stuff in it. But it dont look like much. Im gonna get questions. I laughed to myself as I slipped my shoes on. "EVERYONE BRING YOUR STUFF DOWN HERE WHEN YOU GET IT READY!" Zach yelled from down stairs. "Got it! Okay! Yep!" The guys shouted before their doors shut again.
I picked up my duffle bag and put one of my blankets in it with a pillow. 'Im really good at folding stuff.' I said to myself laughing. I brought my things downstairs as did everyone else. Because of their pillows and blankets they all had two bags as well. They had bigger bags. "Small bags for 8 or more days." Tyler said. "Im good at packing." I said laughing.
"Chris, Heidi, and Tristan are already at the camping site setting up. We will meet them there tomorrow. For tonight get rest and we will see them tomorrow at the camp."
