Ch 23: Girls Day and Good News

It has been 3 weeks since my death threat. He was arrested for multiple reasons and now my life is getting back to normal. All of our lives are back to normal.

"Me Heidi and Mel are going to have a "girls day"." I said quoting girls day. "Okay. Be careful." Zach said. "Will do.. Bye bye." I said shuting his office door leaving him to his work. The boys were out for the day doing only God knows what. We had a free day and nothing to worry about.

"Girls I need to know." I said after I drove away from the house. Mel was in the seat beside me and Heidi was in the back. "Know what?" Heidi asked from the back seat. "What are we doing today? And should we have a game night tonight? Today is the first day all of us have a free schedule and nothing to worry about." I said. "Girls day. Spa shopping. Beach." Mel and Heidi said taking turn speaking. "Yes!" Mel said smiling as she remember the last game night almost a month and a half ago.

"Lets get some new games later. T9day is about us!" Mel said. Heidi happily agreed with her and we all laughed going down the road. After about 3 hours into out day after leaving we got pulled over. "I wasnt doing anything wrong was I?" I asked as I shut the music off rolling down my window. I got my liscens and the regestration to the vehicle ready.

"Good afternoon ma'am do you know why I pulled you over?" The officer asked me looking into the back of the vehicle. "No sir." I said politely. "You have a tail light out." He said looking back at me. I shot Mel and quick look and looked back at the officer. "Im sorry officer. I didnt know." I said honestly. "Get it fixed." He said rudely before giving me a warning. "Yes sir." I said as I waited for him to pull off before I drove away. I folded up the warning and out it in my bilfold. "That put a damper on my mood." I said sitting back.

"Come one. Lets go get this fixed. Then we can continue our day." Mel said. We drove to the car shop and got the tail light fixed. Then we continued our day. We stopped at a few shops looking at swimsuits and shoes and other clothes. I only got a swimsuit and a few new pairs of jeans. Heidi got the same and Mel got nothing. After we left Heidi decided that she was hungry and had to eat "before she died." "Because I was starving her".

We stopped at a restraunt and ate food. Now it was time for the beach. We went to the beach and spent a few hours there. Went swimming did a photoshoot laughed and had a good day. It was around 7:30 in the evening by now and time for the fun to end. Such a good day I didnt want it to end.

Mel got a call from Zach and he wanted everyone back home. Good thing I decided to get new boardgames before we came to the beach. When we got home we all three decided to shower and change before joining everyone downstairs. I let my hair hang down and air dry after it was towel dried. My hair was still damp. It took a while to dry.

I joined everyone down stairs and Zach had called a house meeting.

"Now that everyone is here. I have some good news." Zach said scanning his eyes over everyone. Those words were like heaven to my ears. "For the rest of the week. We are free. Like today. But. We are going to spend that time together to grow closer to eachother." Zach said with a giant smile on his face. His news resutlted in woo's and happy shouts all around. "Each day we will do something different. But. We have to have at least one game day in there for the benefit of Skylar." He said. Wait. Why for the benefit of me? "Why for me?" I asked him. "I know youre dying for a game day." He said. I laughed and so did everyone else. "True." I said befire laughing some more. For the next few days it was filled with fun and joy. I couldnt be more happy in my entire life. I couldnt want anything else but what I have. And Im so thankful for this amazing family.

After 3 days of our week off I got sick. It was like a stomach bug but it didnt go away. Each night I was sick I would go live for about 10 to 15 minutes and talk to the fans. Theyd ask why arent the boys live. And id explain to them that they needed time off and theyre okay and soon things would return to normal. Id end the live then go to bed.

For four days I was sick. And I hated it. But I got better then I got back to myself. Everyone was happy I wasnt sick anymore and so was I. For the next week we played games almost every night after the boys went live and Mel and I cooked dinner for everyone every night.

Things are looking up again. And they look like they will stay that way.
